Such a stunning building from the outside but somewhat disappointing on entry.

In honesty there’s also a large sweet shop sitting randomly next to the winery that would take you more time to walk around - I’ve never seen so much sugar in one area.

The winery is tiny but the young lady there will happily explain all of the locally produced wines using the berries that grow here - lingonberry and cloudberry spring to mind. We bought a lingonberry as a present so can’t say what it tastes like, they don’t offer tastings so it’s a bit of a lottery.

I really enjoyed our visit and being in November it was really quiet. The animals have a lot of space and are not always visible but be patient and quiet and you will see them. A nice experience to see animals with some autonomy.

The Huskies are lovely, very friendly and great entertainment, real characters. They just want to run, so you have to hold them back, and they interact the whole time they are pulling. Looks like they enjoyed it even more than we did. Have a go, and drive your own Husky sledge, great day.

This was such a special visit. These lovely gentle people live off the grid. They are an example to us all.
Fascinating talk, interesting lunch over a camp fire and the wolf dogs are simply beautiful.
These people are working to save the few remaining wolves in Finland who have a bounty on their heads.
My daughter had recently broken her ankle so we didn't take a snowmobile. Should have. We went in the closed- in trailer and it was crazy bumpy LOL. So travel by snowmobile because the trails would be fun by that method!

The team at this farm has a true passion for Husky's and it shows. An amazing group of dogs housed in isolated kennels, which is obviously more needed in snow-times than during this July visit.
We were welcomed warmly and instructions were clear and easy to follow.

And then the dogs!!!! Superkind, eager to move (of course as they are Husky's) and lot's of time to ask questions and hug dogs that wanted them.

Many thanks for a very happy morning in July 🙂🙏🏻

We were picked up from our hotel on time by a very jolly chap and had about a 50 minute ride to the location, but it was nice and relaxed and we could watch the scenery on the way and look out for reindeer. We had the trolleys as there wasn't enough snow for sleds, but that's not a problem. The only thing we weren't told when we booked it is that you do these yourself, so one person sits in the front while the other person steers it, it's not a problem if you're both able bodied, but we had quite slow dogs and on the route there a few small hills so we had to get off and push the trolley up them as our dogs couldn't pull us up, so just bear that in mind if you have mobility problems. After we'd finished we had a nice hot drink and a biscuit and then we were transferred back to our hotel. Great experience!!!
