  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Alex is an experienced and superb guide who ensured we had a very special experience on this trip. He explained the historical significance and pointed out the many flora and fauna that we otherwise would have missed. If you take the route with the best views, the hike is a mixture of lagoon edge, sand dunes, rocky trail and a short rocky scramble, all very manageable with Alex’s expert help. There is an easier trail if you’d prefer. The views are spectacular! Nestor’s Cave is beautiful with stunning views over the lagoon and the coast where the Aegean and Ionian seas meet. We even saw flamingos flying in for their stopover before flying on to Africa! Old Navarino Castle is worth the climb. Stunning and we experienced a beautiful sunset to make it even more special! We finished our evening at a restaurant in Gialova, specially chosen by ClimbUp and the food was outstanding. So pleased we did this. Thank you, Alex! One point to note, do use insect repellent before you start out. You won’t be bothered with midges but they are around.

We had an amazingly wonderful time on this excursion! Our guide, George, was a super knowledgeable, very friendly, humble man who made us feel safe at all times.
We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and excursion. We feel like we struck gold with this memorable experience! No joke. George, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping make lifetime memories on our first trip to Greece. We'll be back, and we WILL look you up!

My partner and I were collected from the port by Christos to start our 9 day discovery of the Pelopense. How lucky were we to have this wonderful man to drive us and show us this beautiful part of Greece. His knowledge of the area was fantastic and also to be able to take us to hidden gems of restaurants we’d never ever find ourselves. This was such a wonderful part of the trip as we adore traditional Greek food . Christos driving ability was second to none, in fact he is the best driver I’ve ever been with and that includes my family and friends ! He would never allow us to handle our bags and I had quite a few, always delivering them to our hotel rooms . Christos was always on time and had cold water ready for us and then we stopped and he bought us the best coffee in town where ever we were. After 9 days it was so sad saying goodbye at the airport as Christos made this wonderful trip extra special . I can highly recommend this experience of The Pelopense and of course “The wonderful Christos”.

Great activity! George was a terrific guide. He knew so much history of the area, and did a great job introducing the novice kayakers in our group to the basics. The trip was relaxing and fun with a picnic lunch on the beach. Everything was managed very well on the booking end as well.

Arnies place in nidri is owned by an English couple, it serves real English bacon and sausage, very reasonably priced, served with a great sense of humour. You can find it opposite the church clock tower just off the main street. Great food guaranteed, highly recommended and 👍

Beautiful half-day biking trip in the Navarino Coast region. We saw such a variety of terrain--a large flock of flamingos in the lagoon, sweeping sea views from hilltops, as well as hundreds' years old olive groves. Fotis, the guide, planned the route, so he knows it very well. He's an experienced cyclist, and is very easygoing and made the experience feel comfortable and welcoming.

You should note that the biking is somewhat challenging, especially near the start of the ride, which is off-road. The e-bikes were top notch, so it's not a matter of strength so much as feeling confident navigating loose gravel and some steeper grades. That being said, we were the first customers, so it's possible the route will change.

Also--forgot to mention--a really nice small waterfall where you can swim in nice weather. (You might want to wear your swimsuit, tho, as there's no facilities for changing.)

Our seating was early as we had an early flight the next day. Nevertheless, it was dark and from our seats we could see the Acropolis at night. It was a spectacular view. The food and wine and service were top quality.
