Visit the castle with splendid views of Capri and the new Acropolis Museum which has a fantastic collection of 18th century lithographs and paintings of Paestum.
The on-site museum has quite a lot of interesting pieces and frescoes recovered from the ruins and is also worth a quick visit.

It's vast and peaceful, the archaeological museum is also well worth visiting since it displays the frescos from the site which are also amazingly well preserved.
This is one of the best and well-preserved ancient Greek temple sights in Italy, as magnificent and impressive as Agrigento and Selinunte in Sicily.

Fascinating view into ancient civilizations in a well-preserved example of greek and roman architecture and city living.
This site was a fantastic surprise; three wonderful Greek temples set amongst the ruins of a later Roman town.

Visit the castle with views of Capri and visit the new Museo Acropolis which has a superb collection of 18th century lithographs and paintings of Paestum.
The Paestum temples are wonderful sights, but a visit to this small but comprehensive museum will allow one to get a better perspective of classical Greek presence in Southern Italy

The farm is totally sustainable and everything they produce (mozzarella, ricotta, yogurt and gelato) is only sold on site.
We really enjoyed our fresh made lunch and the view of the farm itself.

Interesting structure in teh Paestum archelogical site
So it's not as well preserved as Pompeii but this is a gem, with about half the site uncovered with walls around waist height giving you a feel for the houses people lived in 2100 years ago.
