Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A serene art gallery by the side of a picturesque lake. The art gallery is housed in a beautiful villa furnished aesthetically. There are two floors of various artistic displays. The staircase is provided with a geriartic friendly access. One need not be an expert in art to enjoy the exhibits as a creative mind with flair for artistic expressions is sure to imbibe the varied display. Paintings are available for sale too. Toddlers can try their skills too in a designated corner.

Sculptors lace the garden area around the gallery. Benches and a canopy provide peaceful resting areas to soak the beauty of surrounding nature and vastness of the lake.

Artistic get togethers and workshops are held for the inclined. Entrance fee is payable. Not sure of group discounts or any other such packages. A must on the itinerary while visiting Finland.

This very interesting car museum is situated in the yard of Whd Gard Woikoski Guesthouse (read separate TripAdvisor reviews). There are about 50 historical cars in the museum and many of them are very rare. All of them have something to do with Woikoski Factory, Finland's oldest industrial and medical gas supplier.

They have an old-fashioned cafeteria named Esson Baari on the second floor. There is also a panorama window to the museum there. The entrance fee includes a guided tour, coffee and a bun.

It takes less than an hour to visit the museum but there are also other activities in the same yard. They have a restaurant named Juureskellari, a very good gym (the entrance fee 5 euros for day visitors, free for overnight guests), a day spa, offroad racing excursions, a very small swimming beach and an extremely good disc golf park (the entrance fee 5 euros, 18 targets, over 2.2 kilometers, rating AA1, you may also rent discs). So this isn't just a car museum. This is a thrilling experience!

Woikosken tehdasmuseo is situated on the border of Mäntyharju and Kouvola, quite near to Woikosken Automuseo Car Museum (read separate reviews) in Mäntyharju and Vuohijarven Nature- and Culture House (read separate reviews) in Kouvola. The road is narrow but it is asphalted and in very good condition. The place is beautiful. There are small rapids there. The first Woikoski factory was founded in 1882.

There are only guided tours in this museum. You aren't allowed to visit it alone. Guided tours are available on the hour and they take about 50 minutes. First there is a movie and then you may visit the old factory, the old office of the factory manager and the old laboratory. You may not enter the new factory which is still in operation.

They also have a nice summer cafeteria named Saiman torppa (Saima's croft).

The church was opened 1822 and second largest wooden church in Finland, measured by seating capacity of 1700. It largest wooden structure of its construction technique. Charles Bass designed the church and original plans had seating capacity of 5950. However when building was started, it was decided to make smaller.
Berndt Godenhjelm, local artist, has painted the altar picture with Jesus being carried to Heaven 1831. First organ was installed 1870s.
    Currently church is under renovation.
Outside you can see a big rowing boat, demonstrating how Finns travelled to church during the old times.
