Just got back from a 7 night snorkeling and diving trip with our 19 and 21 year olds, and had the most amazing experience of our lives. The snorkeling and diving was out of this world and the reef life of RA justifies all the rave reviews and hyperbole. The crew of the Wisesa was very professional and friendly, and they kept the boat in excellent shape. Rooms and bathrooms were always clean, and the food was prepared fresh and was plentiful in quantity. One person in our group was vegetarian and she had no problem with the food. The cruise director Dylan ran a tight ship and was a great high energy cheerleader for the whole group. He clearly knows the geography of RA inside out and was able to adjust the itinerary for the weather and the needs of the group. Dylan and the other divemaster Yorenzo were both very reassuring in the water and ensured beautiful and safe diving/snorkeling sessions. All in all would recommend Wisesa very highly.

Sorry for the late review...as a big fan of raja ampat, especially Magic Misool, having been lucky enough to visit as a diver in the past. I wanted to explore Misool in a very different way, when your on a live aboard dive boat you don't get the time to explore. So this seemed like a perfect way to explore Misool. To understand all the different options available, basically the ferry deports to misool Monday night and returns on a Thursday night, so you either go for 3 days or 10 days...do the 10! Such a big trip just to get to misool, so much to enjoy so do the 10 days!

I arrived a day early in sorong to have time to recover from the long flights from Europe. The team make contact and meet up to arrange last minute needs, meal in local restaurant, meet with your fellow travellers. Then Thursday night after a dinner at the port, off overnight on the ferry to Misool. Get your room sorted, bunk beds in a ac cabin, need two bottles ..one water..one empty !! The toilets on board are not pretty!
Arrive in the morning transfer to the homestay and off you go on your adventure.
I did the full 10 days , the first 6 with other guests, staying in a homestay and luxury beach camp..all great fun .
The last 4 days I was solo with two guides to keep me alive , jungle blue river adventure and amazing sea caves.

Overall the trip is well run , the local guides are amazing, cool calm and knowledgeable and great fun!

Misool has so much to offer..book today!!

Personal thanks to my jungle buddy guides Owen and Nico for keeping me alive! Thanks to all the gang for a great trip!

Our 10 day trip in North Raja Ampat was an incredible experience. The boat crew so friendly and accommodating, food was great and they were very careful with my gluten free options. They knew the best spots to see mantas, turtles, carpet shark. Hoping to join their Misool trip in the future. This trip exceeded our expectations.

We joined the 11-day Ternate-Sorong cruise on the MSY Seahorse. The wooden dive vessel is built in traditional "Pinisi" style, but unfortunately the masts are mainly deco, there are no sails and the ship is powered by engine only (there are old photos that show the ship with sails). When the ship is not moving, the engine is off and there is only a quiet humming from the generator and we slept well in the comfortable cabin.
The very dedicated crew is always friendly and helpful, the dive guides are really good and find the smallest things. The daily schedule is pretty relaxed, there is no rush between dives and meals.
When we learned that the area where we were supposed to go during the second half of the cruise had very restricted underwater visibility, the crew showed great flexibility and changed the route to take us to dive sites with way better visibility.
This cruise that takes you to some of the best diving within the coral triangle is highly recommendable!

There were 3 of us on a week long diveaboard with wicked diving. We spent this time in the beautiful and remote Komodo national park The diving was out of this world.! We saw so much, every dive! The coral reefs are fantastic and the "wildlife" like none other. We had 4 different manta encounters and even saw mantas competing for a female in a courting dance. Simply amazing! The staff on board were so so good! Food was highly satisfactory and plenty of it. The crew was so helpful and all skilled in knowing the dive spots which as mentioned were superb. I highly recommend this wicked diving but also must mention that these currents in komodo are swift and can unpredictable but quite honestly, that was half the fun. Special shout out to our friend Clement , dive instructor extraordinaire, our dive gudies Agee, Jorgan and Engle. The rest of the staff was great too. We will be returning!!!

The Boat, The Crew, The Food!

First of all Fenides boat is so beautiful. It looks more like a Luxury Bali Villa than a liveaboard for diving. I’ve been on a few dive liveaboard boats from the Maldives to the Galapagos and don’t have an experience like this before. Not even close. It’s very instagrammable !

The crew is the best there is. Not only they are friendly and nice, they are also very able! Their
hospitality is more like being in a luxury 5 star resort than in a dive boat. They are instinctive to everyone’s need even if we don’t ask for it. From the boatmen, dive guides, housekeeping, bartenders, etc. They are the epitome of Service Deluxe. Our cabins are cleaned 2x a day and we never see him inside of the room. It’s magic !

Fooood is amazing and beautiful. Everyday is a feast! We get minimum 10 varieties on the table for lunch and dinner. We get tailored breakfast daily. Really whatever you feel. Pancake is a given , but do u want granola & yogurt? mi goreng? friend rice? congee? mi soup? We get pre bfast, bfast, lunch, meryenda (afternoon snack), dinner. And we get table setting… I mean really?! we feel like we need to dress up for the meals. EXTRA! is what Fenides is

My friends and I were in diving Banda Sea in Oct. Even on days when diving is not great, you forget it once you come back the boat with welcome drinks, every dive, different !!!

The dive boat is equipped with new gears for rentals, all size and all brand new. What do you need? They’re there at your service. And everyone is respectful and professional.

It’s out first divetheworldclub trip post pandemic. It is perfect!!

If you can afford it, you must book it!

The tour was great, Valen organized everything for us. Even when we had to change our plans because I was sick she was very helpful.
The spots were amazing and with this tour you for sure see everything you should in Raja Ampat.

    Perfect service,
Contacted (e-mailed) Sorong tours before departing UK for Raja Ampat, a guide (Lina) was on hand at the airport to greet us before taking us to the harbour to purchase ferry tickets to Waisai.
We were taken to the ferry and assisted with boarding & luggage etc.
Lina was there to greet us on return leg too, we were collected from the ferry and transferred to Airport in comfy SUV vehicle.

Well done Sorong tours, I recommend for Airport transfers

Highly recommended company for Sorong airport to harbour transfers, Lina met us at the airport, took us to the harbour, purchased tickets with us and dropped us right at the ferry, even assisted with baggage, same on return leg, it was a relief to see Lina standing there as the Waisai to Sorong ferry docked, we were taken in comfort back to Sorong Airport, two perfect transfers, thank you Sorong tours

    My dive and travel experience.

    Instructor
92.5 weeks of travel out of the US for diving
    2247 dives

This was our second time diving from a Siren boat, with the first being in the Philippines in 2022. We went with a couple and did the Komodo itinerary where we completed 32 dives. The crew was very accommodating and pleasant.

First, the boat. We stayed in room one and our friends stayed in room two. These are rooms with double beds. We all agreed if we were to do a Siren boat again we would opt for a room with two single beds as they appeared to have more room. Also, in room one and two you have the noise from the anchor. The rooms we chose had toilet issues and it took multiple flushes to get anything to go down. The shower, sink and toilet are all in the same space which made for a very wet toilet at times. The food on the boat was always buffet. It was okay with times being a bit overcooked.

The dive deck is nice and roomy and all dives are completed by dingy. Getting off and on the dingy can be a bit challenging at times due to rough seas. After each dive you are greeted with a juice or water during the day and cocoa after the night dives. There is also a dry towel waiting for you. The diving in Komodo park in my opinion was just okay. The visibility at times was very poor and rarely did we get more than 40 feet of vis. The currents can be super strong, making it difficult for photography. The main attraction is the Manta Rays, but if you want to get a good look at Mantas go to Socorro in December where you will get a much better experience. We saw a few reef mantas on this trip and it was nice, but I prefer Socorro Islands for mantas. By the way these are reef mantas which are the smaller version of the oceanic manta. The rest of the diving was a bit boring. The reefs looked pretty healthy, but there were very few critters. We did a few night dives that were really good, but we also did a few night dives that had basically nothing on them.

The trip to Komodo island to see the dragons is a must do. We had a total of six dragons.

So, to sum it up I thought the boat was pretty good, but Komodo diving was just okay. I would return to the boat for the Raja Ampat itinerary.
