What travellers are saying
- Pratheesh JaisonDubai, United Arab Emirates282 contributionsIt was an amazing experience in Lapland that one not to be missed. We were trained with video tutorials and given special shoes, helmets, suits, gloves and many other accessories. The cart car has 13 H/P engine and can speed up to 60km/h. It has a speed and safety monitor and the side of the tracks are made of 2 feet tall tick snow wall. So safety is promised.
The race was between the four of us. The sensors fitted on both sides of the track mark the laps covered and time taken accurately. After 3 or 4 rounds, we got the hang of it. . It was getting dark soon, so first we posed for some photos then move to the race. The first lap was very difficult. But we learned the technique very fast. Drifting through the ice is very tricky and lots of fun. Also a few times we crashed each other and hit on the snow wall.
Its a must-do activity on your arctic circle tripWritten 25 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Paul S3 contributionsThe staff here are so helpful and guided me through the options around excursions when I was unsure if I could travel. This is also the best and cheapest place to book your activitiesWritten 30 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Pekka RHartola, Finland9 contributionsLevilla kaydessa ala Jaya kaymatta. Huippu ruoka iloinen ja ystavallinen palvelu. When you visit in Levi don’t miss this place. Marvelous food, cheerful and lovely service. And don’t forget the snow castle.Written 27 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Selina Z1 contributionWe had a great stay at Tundra Huskies. Even tho the weather was not as good as expected and our tour was shortened (we got the price difference back!), it was an unforgettable experience!
The huskies seemed to have a very good life there and they knew each huskies name and personality.
Totally recommended.Written 11 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Nicky2 contributionsVictor is an amazing guide, he told us a lot about the huskies and the finnish family that owns the huskies. The groups are small, the tour is very personal and the huskies are so cute!. The couple that owns the huskies, Jaakko and Sirkkalisa, are very friendly and we felt very welcome. The sled tour was great. After the tour we warmed up around the fire in the wooden cabin. SirkkaLisa made us some delicious finnish snacks and drinks. It was an amazing experience.Written 5 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Welshcake2342 contributionsMy husband and i and our 5 year old son went to winter laser world in December 2019 whilst on holiday in Levi. It was great fun! A lot of attention to detail had been paid to the layout of the battle area with bunkers, trenches, and lots of places to hide. Its location in the forest is also really atmospheric. We played against another family and really enjoyed ourselves. It was very well organised as well. Would definitely recommend to others.Written 31 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Shaun M2 contributionsThe husky park tour was absolutely amazing with the 6 of us getting to ride the sled in pairs of 2. We spent time petting the dogs and got to see the foxes (including an artic fox) and the wolfdog. Incredible experience and an absolute must do if you canWritten 31 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ronald DEindhoven, The Netherlands245 contributionsWe were welcomed by our guide Adriaan at the wild nordic office and felt comfortable straight away.
We informed us about the trip, what was going to happen and gave a clear explanation of the do and don't for the snowscooter.
During the ride he kept a close eye on us and informed us for specific cases how to co trol the snowscooter.
We felt very welcome and relaxed during the whole tour (including the visit to the ice gallery) and definitely recommend Wild NordicWritten 8 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - breesworldGoldau, Switzerland63 contributionsI was guiding a group in Lapland and we went for a snowmobile safari with Perhesafarit. I can highly recommend the Kätkä Fell tour! It was a highlight for many of my group members and frankly also for myself. :)Written 15 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Brownleys24Doncaster, UK100 contributions5* Stars all the way for the tour from our family :-)
We was supplied everything we needed for this tour and given a full brief of instruction before we left to find the northern lights! Due to the weather it never happened but that never stopped us having the best time cooking sausage in the middle of the woods and enjoying nature. Our guide Mario was the best :-)))))Written 16 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Adele WKilkenny, Ireland1 contributionGreat service with a large range of ski gear available. Very reasonable prices as it was, but adding the 10% online discount was a real bonus. Just 150m from the bottom of Zero Point slopes or the bus stop to the other slopes. They didn't mind looking after us beginners either!!! Would definitely recommend!Written 17 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Madison JDallas, TX10 contributionsThis was hands down the best accommodation I've ever stayed at. I don't even know how to formulate this review into words. Magical. Comforting. Homey. Beautiful. I don't know where to start. Paul and Aggie real thought of every single detail from the architecture to the linens. The beds felt like literal clouds! I have never had a better night's sleep! They make the best morning breakfast that was so tasty and kept me nice and full for my day of adventures. They really care and have thought of every little detail for their guests. They have sleds and snowshoes and even a BBQ where you can grill your own food! Which we did! We were celebrating our honeymoon and they gifted us the most delicious chocolates and nonalcoholic sparkling Wine since I can't drink alcohol! Too sweet. Truly the best accommodation from the actual hotel to the beautiful hosts I will have to go back soon, I need another night sleep in those beds!Written 23 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- C MUnited Kingdom201 contributionsHidden gem of a ski resort. Not the Alps but nevertheless a great place for a short break. Plenty of skiing and not much queuing for the lifts. A great beginners area. A short walk across the road there is plenty of accommodation, bars and restaurants.Written 26 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Emma KNottingham14 contributionsWell this was the highlight of our trip. It started with really friendly and helpful staff, we did a family safari in the snow it was truly magical and very scenic. Driving a snowmobile was a fantastic experience even though I was nervous! We stopped for doughnuts and hot drinks, then off to Vmax kids snowmobile track which our 9 year old absolutely loved.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tokka and it’s given us the confidence to hire from them next time.
Thanks Tokka!Written 19 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Richard1 contributionWe went for the Snowshoe Hike with guide Mighty! It was a fantastic private excursion!! We went for a hike in Pallas national park. Mighty gave us a lot of tips about Lapland and he even arranged everything for us during the trip and for the days after the trip!
