Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We absolutely loved our time at Kidsland. We made some very special family memories which we will never forget while sledging here. It’s a great place! I wish we were there right now.

We arrived too late to the office to participate in any organised trips, so staff wonderfully helped us organise our own activities.

Once they discovered what we liked, they suggested several trails and options, while also recommended the places we needed to go to get the necessary gear.

The cross country ski trail map was some of the best money we spent on the trip!

Levilla kaydessa ala Jaya kaymatta. Huippu ruoka iloinen ja ystavallinen palvelu. When you visit in Levi don’t miss this place. Marvelous food, cheerful and lovely service. And don’t forget the snow castle.

Adorable view with special lightings. However, there was not many game stations available in November which may not be the peak season.

    Great ski rental shop.

Nice personnel, good equipment and reasonable prices.

We needed boots, skis, poles and helmets for 6 persons from 4 to 58 years, for one week, and warm winter clothes for one family member, whose suitcase didn’t arrive.

We got all the equipment quickly, even though we went to Levi in a busy period.

The equipment was in good condition, clean and varying from almost brand new to fairly new.

The return and payment went smooth and fast.

I would not hesitate to recommend the place to others.

Very efficient system of rental - very good quality skis and boots for both cross country and alpine skiing. A little too expensive and annoying how the days are counted - eg renting from Sunday am to Monday am = 2 days. Could also be open for longer in the evening to return cross-country skis...

Great transfer to and from Levi, very friendly and interactive hosts throughout the experience. Good instruction and safety. Wonderful experience of the huskies - both riding in the snowy winter land and petting afterwards . Tracks were relatively flat and huskies were energetic meaning there was no difficult ‘pushing’ required. The hosts knew their huskies very well and all by name. They appeared very well cared for and respected. Reindeer were lovely to meet and feed also. Sausages were fun. I would 100% choose tundra huskies again. A beautiful, unrushed experience and made to feel welcome. We have some awesome photographs as memories.

Wanted to book our husky experience here based on the great reviews I’d read online and on social media, all of which had said how good it was.

The trip was booked within minutes of the season’s bookings being opened and I’m glad we booked when we did as it was quickly fully booked….for a good reason!

It was great to see how much the family loved the dogs and how they cared to make sure the experience was enjoyed by everyone.

The ride was awesome but be aware that if you’re trying to film as you’re going along your fingers will go numb VERY QUICKLY unless you’ve got good gloves on. Not so great if you keep wanting to take small snippets of film and some photos on the way so hands in and out of gloves / blankets.

The kota was so nice as were the homemade snacks that were provided for everyone

Time playing with the huskies after the trip was great too

Pick up included in the cost

We had never been skiing before so decided to have a lesson in the resort. We knew how to snow plough and the basic way to use the equipment needed for skiing. We had a lesson on the first day at 10am and this lasted for 1.5 hours. We stopped half way through to warm up but this didn’t eat into our lesson time, it was added on the end. Sami, our instructor, took care in our lesson and taught us well. We were able to Ski for the rest of the day without instruction and enjoy another day of skiing the following day too!

We have booked the Aurora Tour with Lapland Safaris. On the tour we have not seen any lights, but we loved the snowmobile ride through the night with full moon and great guidance. We've had two guides that night (25.1.2024), one spoke French and the other one English (unfortunately I do not remember the names, sorry) - both of them very competent, patient and friendly. As first time snomobilers in a over 30 Minus Celsius night, we felt really great taken care of. Thanks a lot!
We had a break at a remote lake and could warm up in a beautiful Kota, where they have arranged BBQ (sausages) and hot berry drink. After the break we were ready again for the cold on the way back.
We loved the trip and had a blast.
They also explained us where and when we could see the lights later that night. And the Aurora came at it's best.
Thank you guys for an amazing experience. Maya & Fränzi

My partner and I took the snowmobiling safari to a Sami village to feed reindeer. Our guide Tim was great and couldn't be more helpful. He's also some really interesting stories to tell as we found when chatting with the reindeer herder over a coffee and sugar donut at the Sami reindeer village. It’s a great experience being surrounded by reindeer and then feeding them. The ride to and from the village was exhilarating, especially going through the breath-taking scenery!

Tips... Tokka will kindly provide you with an insulated snow suit, balaclava, helmet, gloves etc but you'll still need to dress really warm if -25 degrees that we experienced. If using your own gloves, don't take your best ones. They'll get reindeer saliva on. If your visor ices up, when stopped take your hand out of your glove and use that. Your warm hand will melt the ice. When on long straights concentrate, it does take control to keep straight due to previous grooves in the snow. If you have a passenger, have them rely hand signals to the snowmobiles in rear. Last tip, go with it and have fun!

We did the snowshoe tour with James and would recommend it to anyone! It was just the two of us and the guide. You could tell straight away that it wasn't just a job for him, but that he loved what he did. He has a great knowledge of the country, nature and history. The nationalpark itself was beautiful! It was a very special trip with a great guide.
