What travellers are saying
- Griet dBelgium5 contributionsWe were 6 adults, 3 children of 3 years old and a baby. We took a full pass to all activities in the parc. Great combination of activities for both adults and children. There’s also a lot of space in all areas (we had a rather big stroller) and it’s very cool inside so good for hot summer days.
Personell was really very friendly!
The children also enjoyed it: the story of winery told in a playful way, all parts of the museum very interactive and attractive for children as well. Some parts are like an attraction parc, and we did not even have to pay for the children. The little train brings you to the garden, where there is also room for children to participate in the activities. We had a very pleasant day and were all very tired at the end of the day (you spend a whole day there). Food at noon was very good and not expensive at all. Also good facilities for children!Written 30 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We learned about the terrior and history of Beaujolais while exploring the winery production, quality controls, cellar and tasting room. Highly recommended in the quaint village near Romanèche Thorins, only 43 miles north of Lyon. We hired to excellent van drivers Jordan and Nans from Chauffeur Lyon who stayed with us and had lunch in town.
This was such a fun day for this California wine group and a very good bargain.Written 5 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I thought the animal enclosures were closer to their natural habitat compared to the concrete box enclosures that I saw in some zoos. It was spacious but you still feel close enough to the animals to admire them. The animals looked healthy and well taken cared of. My favorite were the white tigers!
You have a carousel and other games to entertain kids, definitely a kid friendly zoo! On top of that, there are plenty of spaces and picnic areas for families to have their food.Written 1 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The shop is always an Alladins cave of many delightful wines.
If you like Beaujolais, then you'll like this place, and their production is always delightful.
Though it has got a bit more commercial and more expensive since those early experiences of mine. They still have a great atmosphere. Good bar too.Written 24 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff person that performed our tasting was competent, but not particularly friendly. We were served one white wine and four reds (one red was from Domaine de la Teppe). None of the wines that we tasted were particularly memorable.Written 29 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laura C5 contributionsThe wine maker, Cyril, provided us with a most memorable experience. We tasted Grand Cru Beaujolais including a 20 year old Moulin-á-Vent which stood the test time. He guided us through a very informative tour of the Chateau. Looking forward to tasting more of these excellent wines back home in Ireland!Written 21 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
