Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- GeAnd080946Grimstad, Norway13 contributionsPerfect for short or longer trips in sheltered or open sea areas. Area is where there are most sunny summer days in Norway. Many of the places are reserved for public access, and boating people like to meet in theese ares.Written 21 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GeAnd080946Grimstad, Norway13 contributionsHasseltangen, unique geology, recreational area, prehistorical remains, interesting nature and more!As a "Nature Pilot" I have had several tours in the Hasseltangen area, always discovering new details of interrest. The gniss rock has been molded several times by the glaciers that passed the area, and the remains of the morains can easily be spotted.
The area has a factory area showing borders between needs of labor and nature Conservation. A multitude of different nature types can be seen in i couple of hours walking the national Conservation area from the tip of Hasseltangen, along the rocky Skagerak shore, around the Ruaker bay and back through the bich forrest unique to this part of Southern Norway.Written 5 September 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NomeianRiddells Creek, Australia563 contributionsWe stopped by on our way out of town and the church did not disappoint. You can almost feel like you are stepping back in time when you enter places like this. The old wood, paint, rocks and creaking floor boards add that sense of age and beauty. The history and manicured gardens make for a great stop and to step back in time to a more simpler world. Do remember that it is an old church, be respectful and enjoy the surrounds.Written 26 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Farming in Southern Norway was never easy (look around at all that dark gray rock). Being able to get insight into life of the area, and be able to see how things where done "there" in a place, how things where adapted and polished is amazing. This is a museum that shows you the tools and a way of life, it is not there to entertain you with tracker pulls and pig races, it is a picture of life from another time, and how it has matured until now.Written 30 January 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
