Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Susan CUnderhill, VT7 contributionsWe stopped off at the Syndicate Falls area after hiking the nature trail further up the road. We did not hike to the Falls but had a wonderful conversation with Moses, the bartender, and tasting of some his herbal and fruit infused rums at the Zion Cafe. Their passion fruit juice was amazing as well. We are looking forward to returning on future trips to see what else they create for nature lovers to experience. Thank you, Moses! - ItchyFeetCamarillo, CA11,387 contributionsI was on Star Flyer with Star Clippers and the boat docked immediately next to the park.
They said it was 15 minutes to the fort but it was 100 yards! It costs $5US to go into the park. The walk to the peak was maybe 15 minutes but signage was not great but the views were great to the other islands.
The fort was interesting and the walk was nice. No one was around since it is not near any towns or major cruise ship. It was nice to be in an area that was very low-key and quiet.Written 6 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was very refreshing after the Indian River tour. I highly recommend this beach. There are no changing room facilities though. Also had lunch and a drink at the Purple Turtle Beach Club which were good.Written 24 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mrskaySt. Louis, MO13 contributionsAmazing ride through the cabrits, the fort, and the ruins, finishing with a little ride through the sea. Knowing we weren’t super experienced (and I was traveling solo with two kids) Valerie and Keith walked alongside our horses for our comfort. They shared so much knowledge about Dominica, it’s history, it’s plant life…
Perhaps most importantly for me, you can tell that Valerie really loves and takes great care of her horses. We have done rides in other locations and I’m not sure I could say the same. Amazing experience—will definitely be back!Written 24 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Came to Dominica with a friend who is an experienced diver and I was getting certified for Open Diver. We both had an amazing time. Virginie was a great communicator and made the whole process stress free and clear. The dive to Toucari Caves was beautiful and Virginie made sure to point out what we were seeing. And a shout out for the best home baked banana bread - served up on board during the break ❤️ That was worth the trip itself - you need to sell that in the shop! If you're planning a trip to Dominica make sure Cabrits Dive is on your list - many thanks for the wonderful memories.Written 2 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
