What travellers are saying
- ApiaNew York City, NY11 contributionsA lovely view of the city... Not too difficult to climb. In the center, easy to reach. There is a helpful information desk attendant downstairs,.Written 15 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- eddiebest28 contributionsThe arena shopping mall I think is trnava's statement that they've made it. The mall is quite large, spotless and well laid out. Shopping outlets are varied and very well appointed. Didn't get to watch a football game but got myself my Spartak hoodie. Maybe next time round I will get to see some soccer.Written 25 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Paul BChesterfield, UK1,317 contributionsWhat a surprise when you walk through the doors. This is a stunning opulent church. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the areaWritten 24 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- laczkozsuDebrecen, Hungary834 contributionsWe visited Trnava some years ago and stayed near this Basilica. We saw its typical towers from our window. It was built in 14-15. century in Gothic style. It is remarkable and nice inside, too. Now we wanted to go and see the beautiful Main Altar and the painted windows again, but unfortunatelly it was closed. So we could see it only outside.Written 3 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marian KOntario71 contributionsAfter welcome drink, we were given personalized tour of facility. This establishment is relatively new, but design and quality of wines and service is excellent. Following dinner, we tasted additional wines from Trnava region and selected "the most popular" Rizling.
We stayed overnight. Rooms were spacious, free WiFi and breakfast was included. Our car was parked in secured area within fenced facility.Written 28 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Jennifer SSlovakia230 contributionsThe city is located about 45 minutes outside of Bratislava. It is definitely worth a day trip. The architecture and the churches are the most stunning. One can walk around the whole town And to all the churches and it’s under 5 miles to do everything. Lots of great cafés and ice cream stops along the way. They’re also fountains the kids can play in or splash at.Written 5 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Itinerant_FoodiesGreensboro, NC587 contributionsEven though this may be a bit off the beaten path of tourists, we found the town square very nice with a bustling Christmas market. Another square just a few hundred yards away had a medieval Christmas market with fascinating home made crafts.
The most interesting cathedrals on my list were closed while we were there in late December which was the only disappointing aspect of our visit.Written 15 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - FifescotsDunfermline, UK64 contributionsNice modern football stadium with a shopping centre adjoined to it, A nice bar/restaurant also on site and reasonably priced. - laczkozsuDebrecen, Hungary834 contributionsWe wanted to see the the first Hungarian university, the legal predecessor of ELTE (Budapest). The Jesuit University was founded by Péter Pázmány in1635. It had 3-4 faculties: Theology, Arts,Law, Medical. It was a lively knowledge center until 1777, when the University with the library moved to Buda. If you are interested in the history of Hungary you should visit it. Unfortunatelly we couldn't go inside because it was Sunday and the building was closed.Written 24 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
