My family and I had a pretty good experience with this company on our 3 night/4 day tour of Southern Ireland. Our driver picked us up at our hotel in Dublin at 8am and we headed to the Rock of Cashel then to the Blarney Castle. We arrived at the castle around 11am and the line to get to the top of the castle was about one hour so we decided to walk around the grounds. When we got back the line was an hour and half but figured that what we were there to do, to kiss the Blarney Stone. After that we were supposed to meet our driver but we still hadn’t had lunch so our driver was fine waiting another hour for us. We then headed to Killarney that we stayed for two nights. Time that evening to have dinner and visit the pubs. The next morning our driver picked us up and we drove the Ring of Kerry. This is a beautiful drive. We stopped at several spots for photo taking but pretty much saw lots of busses. It was nice to be able to stop somewhere and when we were ready then could just take off without waiting on a bus load of people. Stopped for lunch, each lunch spot was picked by our driver guessing he gets a kickback for doing that. Lunch was fine, nothing that exciting as most of the restaurants seem to serve the same kind of food. Back to Killarney we took a nice carriage ride through the national park which was very nice. Our carriage driver then dropped us off at the Killarney brewery since we wanted to go there. That evening our driver had recommended us seeing an Irish dance show which he organized getting us the tickets that morning. He picked us up from our hotel and dropped us up at the show. We were able to return on a shuttle bus that dropped you at the center of town. Our hotel was very convenient and in the center of everything. Day 3 we were picked up again in the morning and traveled to the Dingle peninsula. This was very enjoyable and we really liked the town. Got a chance to have a beer at a really cool combo pub/hardware store then lunch at a local restaurant that had good fish n Chips. From there we headed to Galway for our last night. My biggest disappointment was that our hotel was not within walking distance to the center of town but after check in our driver came back for us and dropped us off in town where we had dinner and visited several of the pubs there. We really loved Galway and wished we would of spent another day there. Next morning we headed to the Cliffs of Moher which was beautiful. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day. We walked on top of the cliffs and then took a boat ride to see them from down below. Although it was nice. I think I would skip the boat as I think the view from up top was nicer. After there on our way back to Dublin our driver allowed us to make an extra stop to the oldest pub in the world called Sean’s Bar in Athlone. That was pretty cool to see. Then it was back on the road fo4 a 6pm drop off at ou4 hotel in Dublin. I really think we got to see a lot in a short time but there is a lot of driving involved. Our driver was very knowledgeable and shared lots of info with us. Our vehicle (large Mercedes van) was very comfortable and it also had a WiFi hotspot. If we needed to make a bathroom stop or grab a drink he was happy to oblige. This is a fairly structured tour but not as structured as a large bus tour would be so it was pretty enjoyable for our family of four.

The day tour was arranged very well. The driver provided appropriate and interesting information about the tour and the relevant history. In addition to sightseeing, the tour provided a crash course on Irish history and culture, much appreciated.

Vincent was our tour guide on the tour around southern Ireland in March, and he’s the best! He put up with the 6 of us on the tour (20’s and 30’s) who came solo but became friends. We loved that he was his genuine self. He kept us entertained throughout the trip. The trip was absolutely amazing. We especially loved laying out in the sun at Slea Head and exploring Dingle. I’ll never forget the memories made on that trip. Please let Vincent know how much we appreciate him.

I pretty spent majority of my day in the bus which toured us around. It startled 15 minutes late and the bus had to go back to pick up missed visitors because of managerial errors.

We never got to see the Connemara and had no idea where we were when the bus stopped in a small town called Cong(???). I had to ask the the cashier in a gift store where I was. The weather was pretty bad too. It was constantly raining. We were also asked to switch to a different bus when we sent us back. But the new buss driver asked us to wait outside until the original passengers to return from the convenience store in a gas station. Several people had arguments with the driver already.

The management of this tour was a complete chaos. It seemed no one knew what they were doing and no one had any plans.

I had a great experience with a different tour guide who took us to Belfast but this one, a big disappointment.

So, your mileage may vary . That’s my advice for you if you are planning to give them a try.

Anne is a gem and this walking tour is a must for all that travel through Cong. We had pretty nice weather as we walked about and Anne is a fantastic guide. Make sure to visit their gift shop, a great array of gifts and items are priced better than in some of the other shops. Also great coffee next door!

The title of this trip has the word "Tour" however, this was not a "Tour". The driver is not from the area, is not an accredited tour guide, did not know any of the history of the places we visited and was not able to answer basic questions about the sites we visited. The title should say "Driver". If you are looking for a service to drive you to the airport this may be ok, but we were looking for a Tour. It was terribly uncomfortably because the driver did not talk to us. He was polite but not friendly. More suited to the role of a limo driver than a Tour guide. This was an expensive "Tour" to receive nothing but a ride. Very disappointing. The places we went were good, but since this was just a driver, you could just do it on your own for free. Would definitely not recommend this "Tour".

We had an excellent experience with PaddyWagon Tours . On time, friendly, informative, great restaurant recommendations, timing is good.

A shout out to Richard O'Brien. He is the best bus driver. Great stories and suggestions on the area you are visiting. Entertaining and a love for his country. We went west with another bus driver and returned to Dublin with Richard and so I can say that not all drivers are create equal.
