Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Terry J5 contributionsPlatja de Talis the western end of Son Bou beach is a superb little nudist beach. Although it lacks facilities it it a great little beach to spend a day blissfully naked. Predominantly a nudist beach, it also attracts a proportion of non-nudists and topless
young Spanish women, who all co-exist very harmoniously to create a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Platja de Talis attracts a wide range of age groups and nationalities, together with a mixed range of body types, from super-slim to plus-size; all displaying an equal degree of personal body confidence. I spent three days on Platja de Talis as a first-time nudist and felt completely at ease from the first moment, on my first day, that I got completely naked. Every day I felt really relaxed, nude, with my fellow nudists and equally comfortable, totally naked, with the beach's non-nudist users.
Staying in Santo Tomas, Platja de Talis was a comfortable twenty-minute walk from my hotel . I intend taking a longer stay in Santo Tomas early next summer and making the beach at Platja de Talis my main daytime destination.Written 17 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tip: You need to be a good driver to get there, the entry road is narrow and I saw people that couldn't drive back thereWritten 3 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Be aware that the hours are different now (possibly due to being out of season).Written 5 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Karen BrownTexas22 contributionsLovely beach, very packed tho but the water is warm and not that deep so great for small kids as well. I loved it but if you’re loo for a private beach vibe this is not it cause it’s EXTREMELY busy!Written 15 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Soph356Chesterfield, UK38 contributionsLovely place but it does get busy! Walk around to find some hidden spots and don't be afraid to swim out if you want a lovely snorkel. Not too many fish but a beautiful cove!Written 8 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- johnpZ4299KQSidmouth, UK914 contributionsInteresting to witness the unique history of the bygone Menorca .It shows the variances between living standards on the island compared with nearby ancient RomeWritten 9 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DunelmArtsAberdeen, UK1,217 contributionsDating from the fifth century, the Basilica now lies in ruins. The Basilica is surrounded by a low wall which allows visitors to view the ruins from the coastal path. Worth a look if you are passing, but maybe not worth a special visit.Written 27 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SamLancaster, UK12 contributionsExcellent historical site, takes approximately 2 hours to complete and some areas not suitable for very young children or anybody unable to walk on uneven surfaces or a long distance, however golf buggies are available for an extra charge. The audio aid gives a in-depth guide and the site is well signposted. There is some fantastic historical buildings and an amazing tunnel system unfortunately the photographs I took don’t do it justice, it is well worth a visit.Written 26 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DJM-156Norwich, UK12 contributionsA small quiet site near to the more impressive Torre d'en Galmés. Worth a visit while in the area to appreciate the history of the Island.Written 23 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
