Museum of local architecture. You can see wooden houses in natural settings. Nice local souvenirs to buy.

We were generally positively surprised. Decided just for walking in the trees and climbing by ourselves. Strange that there are some signs which show people in ropeway smiling while those going by foot sad. I know business is business but here it is not necessary. Going by foot is more healthy.

Almost perfect for families with kids. There is a ski school, rentals, restaurant and a bar on the slope, you've got a full package. Do not expect any high end skiing for experienced skiers but you can have quite a fun there.

In time of our stay in Tatranská Lomnica we start visit of Bachledová dolina. Excelent trip is called "Path in top of trees". Close to parking place is located station of cable car to this attractive place on the top of small hill.. On wooden bridge we walk to wooden tower on the another side of path and then back. Length of this path is about 1,6 km. From the top of tower is nice view all around mountains on Slovak and Poland territory. Only one requirement you need - sunny day.

Worth to see the traditional clothes and traditions of Zdiar's residents.
Nice restaurant right behind the museum.

It is a nice and very educational experience, since when you are walking 'above the treetops', there is a plethora of small boards, along the walk, explaining the flora and fauna around.
I would say that for a single person 20Eur (this is for the cable car trip which takes you to this attraction and the fee to enter the treetop walk) is on the pricey side, and the family ticket - which is charge for 2 adults and 1 child or max. 2, the price is about 50 Eur ( to be precise, it was 49 Eur in August 2020). If you bring along another child with you will have to shell out another 14 Eur charge. Personally,
I found it rather expensive, considering the fact that if a child/ teenager/ joyful adult wants to try the on-site attractions, such as slide from viewing platform , there is another charge of 2 Euros per person; same with the sledge on the hill (charge!) or bouncy inflatable (charged again!). It was nice and sunny (however, rather chilly) on August 2020 late afternoon, but you add some costly juices or ice creams from the little shop at the site, you, if travelling in the group or with the family, prepare to have around 100 Euros for the full experience.

It was very nice though, we were lucky to be there on sunny, cool summer afternoon. We took an advice from the friend who was there before during the rain and said the walking areas were somehow muddy and slippery. So better to check the weather forecast before I guess.

The downside we found was that the last cable car leaves at 6pm. (Currently, during summer time, but at autumn the last one is at 5 pm and then winter is 4pm respectively).
The site is freely accessible by hiking on the steep hill, so if you miss the last cable car service (which you paid for) you have to walk/ hike.

Overall, very nice and educational experience, however on my opinion,
    rather on pricey side.
