What travellers are saying
- AllanJGJWellington, New Zealand3,848 contributionsI'm certainly not a petrol-head but I hugely enjoyed a family day here to celebrate a birthday. Great fun on the go-karts on a large, well-designed track but the highlight for the half-dozen of us who did it was the Ferrari ride around the big track. Affable and skilled driver and at 225kms per hour top speed certainly a memorable experience. And a sensible cafe with good views over the track was a plus. Throw in the museum and the famous loos and a a great time was had by all.Written 20 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rochelle3 contributionsBeautiful winery amongst a serene backdrop. Markus and Colleen went above and beyond in our wine tasting experience. - Eric A3 contributionsCertain wines stand out as the best in their region...Harlan in California, Gaja in Barolo and Barbaresco, Romanee Conti in Burgundy...and Felton Road on the South Island of New Zealand. Ethereal wines presented by warm, funny, down-to-earth Ingrid in a beautiful room overlooking the vines and valley!Written 29 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jane T6 contributionsGreat experience and was so good to go to somewhere with a very informative local guide. Would definately go again just to see the wild goats on the self guided portion of the tour.Written 18 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul BChesterfield, UK1,662 contributionsReally picturesque place with old buildings and a beautiful lakeside view. Good for an evening stroll. - LeilaDLausanne, Switzerland42 contributionsWe stopped by at 10 in the morning and were very warmly greeted. Despite the early hour we tried 5 wines and to our surprise they were ALL excellent ! Unfortunately we couldn't buy any as we are returning home soon, but this winery definitely has high quality wines all very well balanced. If you have time and you're a wine lover this is definitely worth a stop.Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul BChesterfield, UK1,662 contributionsA great round walk of approximately 60mins through what seemed like a US western landscape. Great views throughout. Fairly easy walking on good tracks. - Paul LNew Zealand166 contributionsActually we picked cherries in January 2022 and did a takeaway...but reason for this review is the REALLY amazingly quick courier service...Son Nick picked them just a day ago and we had them delivered to our front door 18 hours later ..Cromwell to Paihia in Northland. Well done on choosing a great courier company !!

There you’ll meet Marie, who lives in town. She is kind, quirky, & self aware, as is her artistry. She includes tiny hand written notes w each item that explain the thoughts & feelings behind the creation. - Mumma&CoTimaru, New Zealand6,207 contributionsWe always stop here when going past. Friendly service with a smile. Prices have certainly increased on the dried fruit but I guess everyone else has too.Written 21 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NinnaGranna, Sweden1 contributionSuper nice and committed reception and management of the test. Good wines. Pleasant surroundings.
We went in spontaneously without knowing anything about the winery beforehand. Although there is a lot of land development going on the tasting room and restaurant were excellent. We had a cheese board along with a tasting of several wines. The pinot gris is sublime! The vision and forward thinking of the owner will mean this will be an even better experience in the future. We left with a nice selection of pinot gris, riesling, blondie and pinot noir. Definitely put it on your visit list.Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
