Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having seen an Ansel Adams exhibit at the MET in the late 1980s, I was so eager to visit this place. I was shocked to see that about 1/4 of the place had his photos while the rest of the place was like a glorified souvenir store, more than an actual gallery. I would visit again, though.

On the way to Soda Springs sits a little cabin built in early 1900’s but still in use today. I would not make a special trip to see this, but definitely plan on stopping by on your way to Soda Springs. Don’t forget to turn around for a nice view of Unicorn and Cathedral peaks.

Small and culturally historic, representing the lives of the Ahwahnechee people who lived in the valley, this museum has some baskets that are hundreds of years old. There are landscape paintings, a buckskin dress, exhibits of southern sierra miwok, ceremonial hairpins and life size statues that depicts life of the natives. There is a tree trunk in front that has rings indicating its age. It is a quick tour and it is free.
