What travellers are saying
- GeneralShamuNew York City, NY1,114 contributionsThis is a lovely boardwalk with great views at multiple locations of the shoreline. Tough to see most of it because it was raining heavily that morning and the wind was quite strong. That said, still managed to see some of it so can only imagine how great it is when the weather cooperates!Written 26 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lourdes IIsabela, Puerto Rico1 contributionThe area has a beautiful Reef although a lot of visitors walk on it. You should swim in the Sandy areas and stay off the coralsWritten 25 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Erica SSorrento, FL2 contributionsBeautiful beach. Great sunset. Parking may be difficult but worth it. Watch out for the riptides. I wasn’t paying attention. Floating on my back & daydreaming. Realized I was far out and took a while to get back. A lifeguard, Julie, met me as I got close in. She said she was keeping an eye on me. Thanks Julie!! The water is dangerous. The views are greatWritten 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GeneralShamuNew York City, NY1,114 contributionsFascinating statue to see upfront and in person. Quite sizeable carving and relatively easy to park alongside the road just be cognizant of the jug handle/exit from the main highway.Written 26 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carmen MCarolina, Puerto Rico21 contributionsAmazing beach with the best Parador: Villas del Mar Hau. Love this place. Easy access and facilities.Written 17 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- lizakqNaguabo1,137 contributionsThis is located in Jobos beach and there 8s a legend about why is named la Poza de Jacinto; you can look it up. It's a great spot for pictures. Be careful getting to close to the edges because it can be very dangerous.Written 7 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kendra JRobinson43 contributionsWe hiked to a cave and went down some scary stairs to get to the cave. It was very neat to see. I think the preserve is actually closed but the rangers saw us and didn’t stop us from hiking. The road up is so narrow you have to honk all the way or crash into a car coming the other direction.Written 17 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Beth C2 contributionsThis was a fabulous experience in every way. In our group we had one experienced rider and two with very little experience. They took good care of us and gave great instruction. It was a highlight of our trip!Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ViatgesrjrMayaguez, Puerto Rico1,198 contributionsExcellent for surfers and expert swimmers, except for the small poza.
Enjoyed the beautiful views and took some photos. There was one guy selling coconuts nearby, and there are also several restaurants within a mile of the beach. A good place for getting away from the everyday routine. Limited number of shades, really warm.Written 5 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's like an hour stop; they have a small museum with some information and they will put on a short film of the history of this place. There's always chance for great pictures here. Not many people know about this place so that means crowds are non existence.Written 7 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Janet M3 contributionsGorgeous, deserted beach. I went looking for shells because of the tide pools at the end of the beach. The tide pools did not have much (other than living creatures!) but the beach itself had a huge array of interesting limpets and small snails. The surf is massive and this is not a swimming (or surfing) beach!Written 29 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicolecat73Bloomington, IL62 contributionsA group of friends went for the surf competition and it was amazing! The beach is rocky but gorgeous! Love Isabela!Written 17 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
