- AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain9,932 contributionsPlage de Sa Tuna is a wonderful beach and coast located near Begur, a tiny town in Costa Brava, in Girona Region, in the North of Catalonia. I cam here from Begur following the coastal path and the views were incredible! Great! In the beach, there is a little accomodation with a restaurant called Sa Tuna, where you can eat very well and enjoy with views. For me, the best views are from Punta des Plom, from where you can see all coast, the beach, the very nice buildings and a tower. A fantastic picnic spot!

It’s sheltered and perfect to swim in the day. There are also 3 or 4 very nice cafes/ restaurants at the back of the beach.
However I gave it 4 stars because it has limited parking and is €8 during peak season.Written 5 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Gorgeous beach. parking is trickyWritten 17 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The sun still here and the crowds gone..... loved our time here..... beautiful clean beach and surrounding landscape.
Clean public toilets at the beach.
Can walk round the headland and on for miles if you like.
A small selection of bars and restaurants bear the beach. Any we tried were fine.
Parking may be limited in peak season.
Nudist beaches between rocky outcrops if that's your thing!!!Written 21 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The main car park fills up quickly, but people are always leaving so space does come available (one-in-one-out). Otherwise you can park further up on the side of the road.Written 6 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain9,932 contributionsCastell de Begur are ruins of the old castle located in Begur, a tiny town in Costa Brava, in Girona Region, in the North of Catalonia. Ruins are not very well-preserved, in fact you only see a part of a tower and the wall, bit the best part of the place is that it is located on the top of a little mountain, close to the old town, so you can enjoy a lot with very beautiful views of surroundings, especially the coast. I came here to see beaches, the sea and the Coastal Path that I followed the last day. Very nice.

The church was built in 16th Century in a gothic-style and it has one tower bell. It is located in the center, close to the Town Hall. Nice.

The beach is very small and the path to arrive is a bit complicated, but views from the beach or the upper part are wonderful. You can see from here all Sa Tuna beach, the coast and surroundings. The beach is ok, views are great. A very nice picnic spot.

Although this is primarily a place for launching boats, there are steps to get into a separate swimming area, although most people basked around the jetty, the braver of them jumping off it into the clear water. As with most of Begur's beaches, the water is teeming with fish and is great for snorkelling.Written 18 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A nicely done garden with fruit trees, seats spread around, nice lights and really good cocktails!Written 20 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was very unsure about deep sea diving and was also petrified of going under water since I am not a great swimmer. But Laura was amazing as a trainer and she gave very good and clear instructions. I would highly recommend her. The diving gear was safe and well maintained.Written 4 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Susan TGosford, Australia416 contributionsThis is a great little bar, lots of atmosphere, fun staff and clientele and clean to boot. - Sarah SDurham, UK19 contributionsWe were given a map and information about the history of the town's past which was well received. The clean toilets were also a bonus.Written 3 October 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Claire FGlasgow, UK21 contributionsMyself and partner and our four year old daughter went for a one hour trek. My partner and daughter had never been on a horse before and I had been on a horse once many many many years ago. I was very nervous. The prices are reasonable and the staff were lovely. The horses looked well cared for and looked after. Lovely trek in the forest for an hour which we all really enjoyed and will do again next year. We are also looking at horse riding lessons for our daughter back home in Glasgow off the back of this visit as she enjoyed it so much. We bought her a Hipica Begur t-shirt at the end which also made her day! Would recommend even for people who have had no experience of horse riding.Written 9 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
