Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Incredible scenery, a wonderful experience. Whether you walk, jog, run, or take the dog for a hike, anywhere on this trail is fantastic. My wife and I had a chance to experience Belle Isle (part of the James River park system) and Brown's Island / Manchester by crossing the T. Tyler Potterfield Pedestrian Bridge, you have to give yourself at least half a day, if not more to walk, walk and walk. Bring a camera and your walking shoes. This trail, no matter where you pick it up, is worth every minute you spend on it. Tons of beautiful scenery, awesome views and wheelchair accessible. A perfect opportunity for everyone to enjoy Richmond and all the Virginia has to offer.

Shady park with lots of paths, both paved and natural, for walking. With so much tree cover, even walkable in light rain without an umbrella. Very peaceful. Lots of parking in various lots peppered throughout the park. Would be nice if the county put up signs, even just a few, letting you know where you are. Once you've been a few times, it's easy to figure out but for a first timer, I'd recommend looking at the layout of the park on google maps first.

This is a pretty park with a nice bridge and good walking trails. There are playgrounds for both older and younger kids around the trail, and plenty of places to stop to take in the lake. It's not a very long trail, so if you are looking to walk/jog for any length of time, you will either need to go around several times or find a different trail.

Not a Redskins fan but love football so I had to drop in while in the area. The parking was 10 bucks and a big city block away which was nice. The whole setup to get in was smooth. We got our free passes online. We were there for day one of preseason camp so it was a fairly crowded but still not bad. You can stand field side or sit on the small hill in your own chairs. Concessions and a souvenir tent are also available. If your a Skins fan you should definitely work a camp visit in sometime!!

Such a great idea! A trail from downtown all the way to Williamsburg! Well lit, very informative. Several dog walkers, but NO trash cans or dog waste containers......that could be bad. But you can walk through downtown, ride bikes, jog and take your pets. Really, really enjoyable walk.....felt very safe and secure. A definite MUST on a nice day!

How amazing it is to get on a raft with friends and new friends and roll down the James in the city. Not a lot of crazy whitewater moments along the way, but then...the whitewater appears, as do the ducks and cormorants and geese. It's nature. Beautiful. The guides are very chill, know what they're doing. And if, as was the case for me, an oldish woman who fell totally out of the raft, they're there to save you.

RVA Paddlesports helped support our school's outdoor program with a 2-hour flatwater kayaking trip from Deep Bottom Park. Our group was made up of 10 high school students and 2 chaperones and we had 2 knowledgeable and experienced guides. Students were instructed on how to paddle, the equipment was in great condition, and everyone was looked after well. The area we paddled had lots of natural beauty and I would definitely take a group back next fall. Two hours was just enough time for our group.

Catherine was a terrific guide. The overview tour gave us a good feel for the history and geography of Richmond. We brought our own bikes, and we appreciate the discount Richmond Rides offered.

We did an early evening tour and it was nice. It seemed to hamper our guide a little bit, as he complained about the lack of light. It was informative, and we had a nice time.

We had an awawesome experience! We wanted to test a few different e-bike brands that they had before committing to a purchase. They went over and above in helping us, answering questions, explaining the differences, allowing us to test many of the bikes and being very patient with us. Charles Sharp was very knowledgeable and exceptional. I would highly recrecommend Kul Wheels!

A first class company! Our guides, Aaron & Patrick were great- fun and professional. Went with my teenage daughter (her first rafting trip) & had a blast! Also want to thank Travis for making a last minute booking so easy. You guys are great- will definitely be back!!
