Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This museum gave us the opportunity to learn about the generation that fought in the war because it was the right thing to do. We had a teen in our group and this museum does a great job leveraging the senses to help learn - reading, videos, and service men sharing their personal stories. It's
versatile and diverse in the way the story is shared from Pearl Harbor to WWII.

Walking distance from my hotel. Easy entrance and exit. Great seats. Lots of cocktail stands. Good sound. Good announcers. Fun pregame

I thought this would be a yawn. That's the jaded part of me. However, I was enthralled by the variety and beauty of the collection I found here. The day we were there the museum was hosting a Martin Luther King special event which made the museum especially lively - and crowded. I would like to return when I can fully soak in the art.

This is a small museum founded by aging survivors of the Confederate Army at the turn of 20th century. It is small but contains some interesting original items. The most impressive exhibits, at least to me, was several extremely well preserved officers uniforms that looked like they just left the tailor's shop. The museum is well located in the revitalizing warehouse district of New Orleans with many parking options. It is worth a side trip from the nearby World War II museum.

We went to the Pelicans vs Hornets game while we were in town for Spring Break. Our seats were purchased last minute but in a great location. Easy to navigate around the arena. Cheerleaders were nice and took a picture with my daughter. Everyone enjoyed the game and my oldest son was happy to be there for Ingram’s first career triple double!

I discovered this little gem on my recent trip to NOLA while at the mall. Just one taste of the hurricane frozen smoothie, and I was hooked. I returned 2 days straight to get one. If I had checked luggage, I definitely would have brought a couple bottles of the hurricane mix back home. I wanted to have them shipped but, the shipping price is crazy expensive. Next time, I'm checking my luggage to bring some home. The customer service was great and I'll definitely be back on my next trip.

I was happy to find this place near my hotel so I could walk to Mass from there. The building has striking architecture, and the inside is quite beautiful as well. There are some nice shrines, and the blue/green stained glass dome above the altar is very beautiful. The service had some of the more traditional liturgical trappings. There is also a nice little courtyard out back, where they had some coffee and mingling, along with a St. Joseph's altar (as I was there during that feast day).

The Museum of the southern Jewish Experience gives a unique perspective on colonisation and evolution of Southern culture. It does not shy away from addressing issues of slave ownership but every exhibit is well thought out, balanced and informative.

my Wife & I are Roman Catholic and we also learnt a lot about the Jewish traditions that we had neither appreciated or in some cases understood.

    A most excellent 2 hours.

This park is nice for a short stroll. It’s well kept, pretty trees, right in the heart of the downtown area. Worth a stop. Great place to enjoy a coffee

I had some time to spare on my last day in New Orleans and noticed that my hotel was right next to the Museum of Trade and Finance.

Entry is free, though every visitor has to go through a security check. The entire museum is housed in the ground floor of the building, and all exhibits are displayed in an area not more than 5m wide by 15 meters. Not at interesting for kids, but a interesting visit for people who have some basic knowledge of finance and are interested in learning the roots of the Fed.

The contemporary arts centre sits in the wearhouse district of New Orleans. It was formed back in 1976 and is a valuable part of the community. Worth a look.

This is a great spot right near the entrance to a park where you can walk around and right in front of the Convention Center. Lovely memorial to what happened from Katrina.
