Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Heidi_loves_travelMelissa, TX336 contributionsThis is a fun little three block area to walk around in. Live music so many places and an art bazaar open at night! We loved hanging out here and the people watching is great. Our favorite was Three Muses for both food and music. We spent about 20 minutes of our long weekend on Bourbon Street, but two whole nights in this area.Written 30 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kathy KBirdsboro, PA5 contributionsWe rented a house in this neighborhood. We walked a few blocks to good restaurants, Frenchmen Street for non-stop music and art, and grocery stores. While the French Quarter is a mile away, it was an easy walk. The neighborhood is picturesque with brightly painted classic New Orleans houses. People were friendly and helpful.Written 14 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DavidManchester, UK44 contributionsBit of a schlepp from the Warehouse District, but a good walk to build an appetite, and a nice little food hall with a good range of options. The crepe was a bit slow in coming, but the whole place is a nice little oasis on a Saturday afternoon.Written 13 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patricia WNorman, OK17 contributionsWe decided to volunteer while on vacation and this was an amazing experience. The work they put in for this rescue is amazing. We had a group of 4 and all of us would definitely do it again.
Super easy you can email them and set up a Saturday to volunteer. They only want 1 week in advance and then you rsvp and get all the information. It’s so worth it. We also got free tshirts!
I will say do not Google or map the way by searching the title. Make sure you use the address given in your rsvp email. Us and another group went to the old location. New works added since I was last here in 2019. I find it is still one of the most moving exhibits I have seen in quite some time. BMike does great work in the community too.Written 30 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- travelersalongwayMcLeansboro, IL144 contributionsWas downtown walking and looking down the street I saw beautifully decorated balconies. - sheila w38 contributionsWonderful brewery just outside the French Quarter. They have a nice backyard area and are on many of the parade routes. Staff was super friendly. Beer was high quality and they had a lot on tap. Other customers were also very friendly so it was an outstanding experience.Written 4 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stacie BMount Pleasant, SC290 contributionsWhile visiting a friend on that side of town we stumbled upon the park. The walkway over the trains caught our attention. Great walkway along the water! Lovely outdoor space to walk & watch boats on the river! Recommend for a quiet, beautiful walk!Written 8 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- dendres7 contributionsHad seen on the internet that this was an interesting site, especially the Shrine to St. Roch. The shrine, however, was closed when we visited. Seems it needs some repairs until it can be reopened. Otherwise, it was a good opportunity to view a cemetery with some interesting masoleum inscriptions and sculpture.Written 4 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Denise VHarrisburg, PA178 contributionsWe thought the beer here was the best in the city! - Ingrid56 contributionsTo think we almost missed this gem! We walked into a grocery store and commented on a cool sign over the register. The owner said, “Oh, that’s Dr. Bob’s. His gallery is around the corner. You should check it out”. It was such an experience. Dr. Bob even smiled for a picture…he’s not much of a smiler!Written 15 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patricia RFarmington, UT833 contributionsMy husband and I went there before Thanksgiving for a happy hour with food and DJ.
We had a blast!!!! Such a cool and unique place that you must see by yourself. You’ll be amazed!
I wish I knew how to play instruments and that there were more artists in there, so we could make good music.
The DJs did the job well and we danced and enjoy the moment.
That’s the place I’d recommend to anyone! Definitely a must-go!Written 25 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
