Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Heidi_loves_travelMelissa, TX336 contributionsThis is a fun little three block area to walk around in. Live music so many places and an art bazaar open at night! We loved hanging out here and the people watching is great. Our favorite was Three Muses for both food and music. We spent about 20 minutes of our long weekend on Bourbon Street, but two whole nights in this area.Written 30 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kathy KBirdsboro, PA5 contributionsWe rented a house in this neighborhood. We walked a few blocks to good restaurants, Frenchmen Street for non-stop music and art, and grocery stores. While the French Quarter is a mile away, it was an easy walk. The neighborhood is picturesque with brightly painted classic New Orleans houses. People were friendly and helpful.Written 14 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- sheila w38 contributionsWonderful brewery just outside the French Quarter. They have a nice backyard area and are on many of the parade routes. Staff was super friendly. Beer was high quality and they had a lot on tap. Other customers were also very friendly so it was an outstanding experience.Written 4 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gequita RNashville, TN626 contributionsWhile visiting this beautiful city we rested at this cute little park. The people were friendly and we struck up a conversation with a sweet little Canadian girl about American politics. The little children seemed to enjoy it and the weather was beautiful. I enjoyed the park immensely.Written 28 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kelsey E1 contributionWe had an amazing time with Chef Amy and the crew! The team building event was a hit with all of our staff, everyone had a fab time. It was really interactive and everyone was involved and really into the competition. The communication ahead of time with Chef Amy was a breeze. I definitely recommend for a corporate team building event!Written 18 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 80hourzChicago, IL58 contributions5* for venue, but only 1* for service.
Fun venue with interesting bands. It has a small dance floor for when you feel in the mood. There seems to be several regulars who enjoy dancing. We had a great time.
We liked it so much we went two days in a row. On the second night we encountered the
rude and surly bartender. She never told us her name but I think it was Julia(?) the place was nearly empty and She yelled at us for moving some stools, even though the night before there were stools where we were moving them. When we didn’t order immediately after sitting, she harrumphed and stormed away. No friendly chitchat, no smile. Just rude.Written 12 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My wife had to remind me of our travel budget because I was going crazy over the oldies in CD's & records that I wanted for my collection at home. All kinds of music right here along with very affordable prices. Nice people working there.Written 21 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Penguin32Haywards Heath, UK532 contributionsWe came in here as we liked the music we heard when passing. . Not somewhere we would maybe have chosen but Bubbles Brown was playing and sounded great!
Limited seating, couple of tables and some stools at the bar. Seems to be a restaurant upstairs too as people were going up and down.
No cover here just tip the band.
Cash only bar.
Would come again if the music is good!Written 4 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Danny was our guide and he was AMAZING! Friendly, well versed in the history of NOLA and it's cocktails. This is the third time I've done a tour with this group and never disappoint!Written 29 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
