Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is worth a visit when you come to New Orleans, it is almost a great place to walk to on your first day, not only will you see a history of the station, you also get one of the area, as well as local traditions, restaurants etc. There is a giftshop, a coffee shop, clean restrooms and right next door to St. Louis Cemetery No. 1. City tours depart from here, the slowest part is the printing of your ticket, allow extra time for this or you will be late for your tour.

It’s a massive w convention centre that is about 10 to 15 minute walk from the downtown area. Beside the Riverwalk shopping area.

We had so much fun enjoying the beautiful homes on tour. The docents shared some fun stories with us about the history of the homes. We are so excited we understand that they have added a Fall Tour on November 18, 2018.

In the St.Charles Team route and it sits to the left hand side of the street coming out from New Orleans. Fantastic library .

This is worth stopping into for some brochures or maps, especially for first timers. Ask where the best food, music, shopping, and things to do are located. They will have good suggestions.

The Cita Dennis Hubbell Library which opened in 1907 is a tiny historic gem in Algiers Point. My son and I have spent the past two years enjoying this quaint library. We often visit to check out books, complete homework, and participate in some of the amazing programs that are offered like Reading to Thor. We even participated in a specialized healthy cooking class during American Heart Month last year. We absolutely miss our weekly visits since the beginning of this Covid19 Pandemic. However, I am happy that appointments can be made for 45 minutes visits to browse materials and contactless visits are available to pick up books.
Special thanks to the Librarian Chris for helping me resolve some minor problems with my library card and assisting me with selecting a few books about Thanksgiving. My son and I miss the library but we are truly happy to have a way to obtain needed materials during the pandemic. Keep up the great work during these challenging times.

Stopped in the Welcome Center first night of vacation. Gabby was very helpful and friendly. Made great suggestions for tours and restaurants. Went back on Christmas Eve and had friendly service from the two gentlemen working that day. Booking a tour was easy, and the Port of Passage tour was enlightening. Will use them again next time.

Doing research on the 3rd floor. Some employes wore nametags and some didn’t. Some employees were very helpful and some did not seem to want to be bothered with questions. Bathrooms needed attentionand did not have toilet paper in any of the stalls and we got there at 10:30 am. Eventually found what I was looking for.

The Louisiana Welcome Center is located in an historic building in the heart of the French quarter on Jackson Square. After 2 other stops in places that were calling themselves visitors centers, we found a real one here. Though small in size, we found maps, information and brochures on everything for New Orleans and the surrounding areas and a very helpful staff. French spoken and free coffee.
