Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Popped in here on a rainy day to watch the 40 minute documentary ‘Hurricane on the Bayou’. The story follows 2 Louisiana musicians before and after Hurricane Katrina. Extremely well presented film, you certainly get the feel of the storm. Beautiful scenery, great music, it’s certainly worth the $6.75 admission. There is a concession stand for drinks and snacks. The theatre is part of the Audubon Aquarium but you can purchase tickets just for the shows.

We lucked onto this theater on a recent NOLA trip where it was 100 degrees out. Needed to find some indoor activity and found this sweet little venue just a 10 minute Lyft ride out of the Quarter. They had two major releases (the new Top Gun and the latest Jurassic Park), along with pinball machines, books, comfortable lounge, good drinks (including adult drinks) and fresh popcorn. Smaller theaters with comfortable seats. We'd go back again!

This is a mall with higher end stores ( think Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton) and a small food court. There’s also a Morton’s Steak House as well. We went to the regal movie theater here which offers a full menu of food which is great if you want to get your movie and lunch in the same place. The theatre was cozy and a good activity for cold and rainy weather. The only negative was that the sound quality for the movie was low. Fortunately there weren’t lots of talkers during the movie. Overall, nothing special about this place but it’s close enough to the French Quarter so if you want to get away from the crowds, this is a good place to hide out for a while.

An indie type movie house. They have about 150 seat most folding chairs. They do have several sofas if you get there early. They serve beer & wine as well as a few snack/treats (Some traditional & some international ones). The wine we had seemed old so find out when it was opened or see if they will let you taste it before ordering. Unique place to see a movie so I would go back.

Love the small venue, big screen, and comfy chairs, and of course the food brought to you at your seat.
