Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the second time I have done this class, first for my husband. Love this event, you learn to cook and get great history of New Orleans at the same time! Truly a must do

My husband, son, and I had a wonderful cooking class with Lynn. She included my 9 year old son and he was able to do most of the cooking. The food was excellent. Our creations needed to simmer for awhile so they had prepared our meals in advance and we were able to dine right in the shop. The meals we prepared were frozen and we picked them up on our way out of town to have at home. Our meals came complete with finishing instructions at home. We get to eat the great food twice. Lynn even meet us for food pickup on a day the shop was closed. Thank you for a great experience.

4 of us took the Brunch class with Chef Preston. I am a pretty experienced cook (not chef) and I learned a lot. And it was sooooo much fun to do with friends. The shrimp and grits was amazing!

What an amazing experience with Chef Amy and her Team. Amy could not have been a better host. Allison (Comedian) was funny and could not have been more pleasant. Everyone truly helped make my wife's birthday memorable.

The food was delicious, the Facility was impressive and the people could not have been better. Fun, delicious and entertaining.

From planning to execution and every step in between, chef Amy made every step of the process enjoyable.

The Crepes were not only fun to make, they were delicious. As for the Crepe toss competition, I believe it is going to take off and it will ultimately become an Olympic sport.

A friend of mine suggested we check this place out during our stay in New Orleans, I am so glad she did!
We took the ferry over to Algiers, which was a bonus point of fun. Watching the guys work in the shop was fascinating. The finished pieces in the studio are all so stunning you will have a difficult time picking your item to take home with you. They have pieces for most budgets, from $16 up to, I have no idea because if it looked expensive I did not touch it :D.
Take the ferry, walk around the area and see some great houses then go see Mark and his amazing work.

A wonderful cookery lesson from start to finish. There was just 3 of us. Everything was so well thought out, a printed recipe sheet, produce ready to prep and a wonderful environment. Karen is very knowledgeable and we all got “stuck in” together. Wine aplenty, a beautiful dining area to eat what we had cooked.
A wonderful experience, very very easy to catch the ferry as this is located in the beautiful suburb area of Algiers.
So so pleased we did this and created a wonderful holiday memory.

Took my wife to New Orleans for her birthday. Made reservations for the cocktail class and boy when I tell you we had the greatest time! Camille and her staff was very informative and excellent with the hands on teaching. I totally recommend them if you get a chance when going out there!

Without a doubt the best time in New Orleans! Chef Karen is very knowledgeable and shares great cooking tips along with guiding your group to preparing delicious Cajun and Creole food. Sitting down afterwards to share the meal with her and her husband and enjoying great conversation was the perfect way to wrap up the evening. We will definitely do another class on our next visit!

I treated my sorority sisters to a lesson and we had a wonderful time. I ev took my 16 year old daughter and she had a ball. I’ve already scheduled another party for my birthday. Angie was the BEST. Her patience and fun personality was reassuring…we all left feeling SEXY.

So what happened was… Allyson & Ben oriented us to the space, tools, materials & guidelines, then helped us make stuff. But DANG this felt kinda wild for me. The fire and then the fast and slow liquid of glass inspire all kinds of alchemical musings. The elements and just the temperature are a bit intense, but Allyson and Ben took our group on a really chill, relaxing experience interacting with these wild things. They are great guides, teachers, humans. Then we got to make & eat cotton candy.

    It was so, so fun.

Recommend this for anyone visiting New Orleans.

Although we did not get to participate in a hands-on class, we did get to watch some artists at work. I think I would have enjoyed it more if there had been interaction between the artists and the onlookers, but maybe I was there at the wrong time. Still enjoyed browsing through all the beautiful glasswork.
