Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great food and I would recommend the Pina coladas. The stalls in the flea market are fairly standard for a market, very few are unique but worth a visit all the same.

I visited the French Market on my last day in New Orleans and I am so happy I did. I came across the stall for Anatolian Silver and I had to stop.

The jewelry was gorgeous, I had a hard time picking which items I wanted to take home. I met Hasan who is the silversmith and he was very kind. If you are ever in the area, I recommend stopping by. His sterling silver creations are amazing and the stones are very high quality. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Had a wonderful day in the markets the food choices and shopping was great. I was a little surprised by all the souvenir shops set up, I was hoping for more artisans. Over all, glad I went the people were friendly and the happy atmosphere made it worth the visit.

This was our second time visiting here. Great selection from local artists. I was very happy to find my favorites still at Zele. Definitely check this out!

The were only a few vendors. The produce and services offered looked amazing. It was a hot day so expect there will be more vendors when weather gets cooler.

Luckily we were in town the second Saturday of the month and the free Lonely Planet travel guides app (which I HIGHLY recommend) pointed me here. I really enjoyed it. It's not huge, but there's an eclectic mix of flea market wares being sold, from homemade candles to clothing to African bowties and paintings. They also had live music, and a couple of food stands. I got the King Cake (my only time trying it in New Orleans) for $3 which was great, and the Drunk Pig poboy was fantastic. Definitely worth checking out!
