Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved The Spotted Cat. It is such a great place to hear the music that you come to New Orleans for. If you're there on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening go early to hear the Chris Christy band. They are incredible! We were there on Thursday and went back on Saturday and caught an all gal jazz band. Very entertaining.

Definitely worth checking out during a French Quarter crawl! We went during the day when it was less crowded and enjoyed sitting by the fireplace on a cold January day. Friendly staff and cool history! Voodoo daiquiri was delicious (though it will turn your tongue purple)!

Great band, stiff drinks, a definite must for a truly New Orleans experience. Wheelchair users, this is mostly accessible. No steps to get in, low tables, but the washrooms would be tough to access with a wheelchair. They're located on the main level through the courtyard but have very narrow doors.

We went there quite a few times on our tour in November, great vibe loved the staff who provided great service, the place is full of charm and character, cheap drinks and yes you have to try the Irish coffees!!! The locals are great very interesting place it's a must visit if only for the coffee 👍👍👍

We dropped in for a bit to watch the Jump Hounds. Very entertaining band - try to catch them if you can. The bar set up is okay and allows for a good view of the stage anywhere. But there are only a new tables and chairs so most of the audience is standing by the bar. The two doors are open to the street so you can probably watch from there, too. Just make sure you grab a drink.

A quieter spot amongst the craziness of Bourbon Street. Slip in here and have a drink in the courtyard for a break in the action.

A unique experience in a gorgeous setting. We were lucky to grab the last two seats at the revolving bar. The drinks were delicious & our service was prompt & courteous. We enjoyed watching the bartenders make all of the beautiful drinks & stayed for a complete spin (it revolves very slowly) before we left to let others have a seat. Make time to stop in for a drink, but I recommend off-peak hours if you want to sit at the bar - and you definitely want to sit at the bar!

Get there on a night when they have live music and you won't regret it. We saw the last show of the season for Contraflow and this cover band was outstanding. So much fun to bowl and listen to live music at the same time. Drink and food prices are really reasonable.

If you can't find a seat, make sure to stick around because the seats change often. The room is enclosed in the original African walnut wood and it's gorgeous. Make sure to check out the murals on the walls, too....so many figures from the past to spot.

You can catch some great life groups here that you don’t see in the other bars. Drinks are reasonably priced and the place is free from trouble and unfriendly louts.
The staff are always nice and friendly downstairs at least, I rarely go upstairs.

This past Friday, I made a great call and took my girlfriend out for 73 Distillery's Tour, Tasting, and Cocktail Class, and all I can say is, go check this place out because I already know it's going to be packed every night of the week soon.

Shout out to the Seven Three Ambassadors, Rene, and Kristen (rockstars) for making this a great experience for us. My girlfriend and Rene got me to give gin another shot after a 20-year hiatus, and I can honestly say their Gentilly Gin made me a believer. That and the Bywater Bourbon are definitely going to be my go-to gifts this Christmas.

WE went on a whim and it did not disappoint. The Jambalaya was excellent and the pasta and jumbo shrimp was amazing. The servings are large so have an appetite when you go. Unfortunately for us there was no band playing that night however the music was still great. I would recommend it.

Visited on a Saturday night at 7 PM opening. Found a seat near the back and grabbed an Old Fashioned ($12). Live band started around 7:30 - very talented and fun! Nice vibe and atmosphere overall!
