Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

amazing show! A must see! We travel 700 miles each December to see the show and this year did not disappoint. The singing is wonderful, dancing great, arial artist breath-taking, lots of laughing and joy. Don't miss it.

Ornate can't begin to describe the architectural interior with a huge domed ceiling and dramatic lighting. Went to the very entertaining Herb Alpert/Lani Hall show here, and I'll be back for a guided tour of this majestic theatre.

Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike was very funny and entertaining. Each actor totally "nailed" their part.

The sound was fantastic, acoustics - perfect. The theatre is lovely and small. Saw Pat Metheny as part of the Savannah Music Festival. Especially liked that cell phone videoing was forbidden.

We had a wonderful time! All of the singers were amazing and super entertaining. Played some old and some new songs. Even had a girl singer and she was amazing. Our favorite thing of the trip ❤️

We took our grandchildren to Beauty and the Beast last year and they loved it. We decided to go again this year for Peter Pan. The kids are 9 and 11. They think it is so much fun to see how a story is made into a play. And the songs and costumes...as they said “awesome “.

We had a great time at the Top Secret show! We laughed from start to finish. Every seat in the place is good. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Wish our trip allowed for us to go to a second show, we will definitely be back!

The seven actors performed this adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream with aplomb despite no a/c in the 3rd floor room that doubled as the small theater. Even though there was no ventilation and temperature was in the 90s, they didn't miss a beat. Well done! Can't give the Ampersand the same rating, though.

This was a fun variety show. Comedy, musicals, big band music was all covered, plus a lot of audience participation. All the cast were very talented and their harmonies together sent tingles down your spine. Huxsie Scott, in particular, what a treat, what a voice - a Savannah Native who has been singing Jazz/Blues in the city since 1973 - beautiful and soulful. The band were brilliant, a drummer, pianist, saxophonist and sounds. For a solo girl from England in the city at night this was the perfect thing to go and see. It was under $50, but with a food walking tour I received $10 off. For $2 you can get a souvenir cup! So very reasonable, and you can bring your own drinks into the theatre too!

Overall, the trip to Savannah was very enjoyable. It was the first time my wife and I have gone there. Very charming old South appearance. Enjoyed a river cruise on the Savannah River. The hop on and hop off bus system is especially enjoyable if you want to see the downtown area of savanna. We saw places in Savannah that were shown in various movies such as Forrest Gump or midnight in the Garden of good and evil. Also, we toured the Andrew Lowe mansion who was an industrialist during the Civil War. His stepdaughter founded the Girl Scouts. And, if you bring your daughter and she’s wearing a Girl Scout uniform or a Girl Scout vest she gets the tour for free. Overall, my wife and I really enjoyed Savannah and we would highly recommend it to others.

Chris is an amazing story teller and engaging beyond belief ! Things began to really happen while we were there ! And he asked us to stay later because the theater came "alive".

From the first show I saw (Boeing Boeing) to the most recent (HELLO AGAIN) this ensemble bring first class productions every single time. I don't know how that's possible with how little they charge for a ticket. Productions in L.A. or NYC of this caliber I would be paying up to $75 per ticket. Although the ensemble has changed some performers throughout the years there are some that in my opinion should be working on Broadway. One in particular is the actor that played Doolittle in their production of PYGMALION. TOP-NOTCH Theatre Ensemble.

We decided to check and see about tickets the same day.... and were fortunate enough to be able to get 2 great seats. This was the first of their 10 year celebration. Music was great we would go back if we were in the area again.
