Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Walking in Central Park is an absolute joy. The tranquil atmosphere, lush greenery, and charming pathways make it a perfect retreat from the urban hustle. It's a delightful experience that I always look forward to when I'm in New York I highly recommend it,

We spent nearly three hours there and by the end it became a little bit overwhelming. It is extremely well done, meticulously recording, and reporting the sequence of events on that terrible morning. Photos, videos, phone messages and recordings and many artifacts from large parts of the destroyed buildings to vehicles and many smaller personal items. It’s haunting and at times confronting. A memorable exhibit.

Blown away by it and I’ve visited lots of famous museums.
It’s huge, wish I’d had time in NY to visit twice as after 4hr in there I hit artefact and art overload.
Really didn’t expect to be impressed with the European history parts as there’s so much of this to see in the uk, but it was great.
Exhibits are very spaced out making it easy to walk around and also shows off artefacts brilliantly.
Art galleries also amazing, just wished I’d given the Guggenheim a total miss and spent 2 days at the Met.

The whole experience was fantastic, the views were great. We also did Top of the Rock, if you are only going to do one observation tower, then Empire State building is the one to do.

Always a nice walk but why so many rat bait stations, which most likely contain dangerous rodenticides? This time of year is a bit dull when it comes to plant life but the sculptures are nice.

It's like entering a world where stories come to life. The buzz of excitement, the talented casts, and the iconic theaters make it an experience that lingers in your memory. Whether you're a theater buff or just looking for a magical night out, Broadway's got that perfect blend of charm and spectacle.

Great views of the city - I actually prefer the views from TOTR than the empire state - although both should be done. It's a busy attraction - but very well organised.

Make sure you book a specific time in advance.

    Be careful.
Once you get outside metro station you ll be surrounded by afro descendent dudes principally ‘selling you’ tickets.
They will follow you trying to sell and harassing all the way, insisting they are ‘official and authorized agents”.
You just go to the main entrance and pay normally.
Don’t disrespect them but if they ask you about your tickets you better say you already bought it online. Some of these good men will ask you to show them your tickets. In that case, ignore them. They re mostly kinda scammers, unfortunately not easy to recognize them.
Pay the entrance following the directions written and get the main gate. It s only 25 bucks.

When visiting the city I aways try to stop at Grand Central Terminal. It is a must see architectural gem. The terminal is a testimony to building preservation. There are several restaurants and shops in the terminal.

The views were amazing. Took so many photographs. Neck aches from constantly looking up. Beautiful by night and great landscape views from the Brooklyn Bridge

We were captivated by the energy of the bustling streets, dazzling neon signs, and talented street performers. Walking through Times Square felt like being in a vibrant whirlwind of art and entertainment. We stumbled upon some amazing art galleries showcasing unique pieces. A must-visit spot for any couple looking for an unforgettable experience in New York City!

A great and cheap way to see Statue of Liberty. Efficient service. I do think that the company should do more to keep the tourist boat scammers out off the building and off the Island ferry property. They will tell you that since covid the ferry does not pass by the Statue of Liberty, that when the ferry gets to statton island there is a 1 hr turn around. And they want you on there boats. The scammers boats leave from the mid town area. Statton island ferry is free, it does fo right past the Statue of liberty and unless you want to get off at the Statue use the Statton island ferry.

The park is a nice little oasis in the middle of the downtown NYC. The Christmas markets were on when we visited and there was plenty of stalls to see

This observatory is great for cold clear winter days. The view is above other buildings and separated from the Midtown buildings which gives you a clear view of lower Manhattan, New Jersey, Statue of Liberty, and even JFK. No wait to go up on a mid morning Monday. Enclosed so no effects from the weather.
