Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful park, home to the Zoo, numerous biking/running paths, just a wonderful oasis in a concrete jungle!

Was in the area for a concert, and came here during the afternoon to kill some time. I had no idea the museum was this big. I was there for probably two hours and barely got through one floor, let alone three. The guy at the coat check (which is free, BTW....very nice in a city where it seems everything costs something) told me that the floor space is roughly equivalent to the space in the Empire State Building.

If you really want to explore and delve into some detail on the exhibits, you're gonna need all day. Plenty of food options in the building itself, but be advised it ain't cheap (I bought an antipasto salad and a Colombo coffee for $23, and that was one of the cheaper options). Food vendors set up outside the front steps know this, and those options don't seem to be a lot cheaper.

This really is a must do when in New York City! The photo opportunities, the staff and those views, I could've stayed up there all day taking in the views. We went up during the day this visit but I'll definitely be booking to visit during the evening on our next trip to NYC.

We decided on Top of the Rock instead of Empire State and I'm so glad we did. We paid an extra $10 to go at sunset but that was worth it. Once you're up you can stay for as long as you like. There are three different levels of viewpoints and each is worth a visit. The views are very different from the north and south sides of the building.

It was just after 9 a.m of winter morning but there was heavy pedsstrain traffic! the views deem the bridge, the bridge itself and the history behind it was quite something. Had we enough time we would have walked right across to Dumbo. Perhaps for a meal there.

Just walking around and taking in all the theatres and culture of the area is more than enough. But if you can find the time (and money) to do a show, then that is pretty special.

The vibe of this place kind of gets to you even before you get there with the musicians playing in train, at the subway station. Once you do the bright lights, bill boards, food vendors all create an atmosphere like no other! To be sure NYPD also very much present.

We always skate here in the winter but had not been to NYC during the shutdowns. On-line booking was simple and the whole process had been tuned up for the better since our last visit - once through the ticket check everything well organized and the ice in great shape (much easier to do but less iconic than Central Park skate...)
Christmas market at Bryant is also one of the nicest to visit in our experience - but it's a bit crazy at peak times if you are not into that.
Great stop in summer as well to mix in with the visit to the Library (must see interior).

Visited top of the rock, think it’s expensive for what it is but was nice to have done it. I couldn’t stay on the top for long as I’m scared of heights and only went up as my daughter wanted to go up.

An incredible building with amazing acoustics; we were lucky enough for the organ to be playing when we visited - a must visit.
