It was a very long trip with only one thirty minute stop each way.
There was an onboard toilet but it was very crude and not clean.
The Falls were spectacular of course and the boat ride was well organised. Outlet itself was good, but have done better. Plenty of shops to visit, we visited the day after Presidents Day, so sale offers still applied. The driver didn't put on the A/C the whole time, we had to keep telling him to turn it on, which contributed to getting Covid. (Air circulation is crucial) Also, there were people on the trip who constantly argued and the hosts didn't calm them down. Knowing nothing about the city we needed someone to show us the way. Our tour guide Roger was very nice and knowledgeable about everything we seen along the way. Our group was small so we all went and got lunch with Roger at Joe's pizza. It was delicious and a great recommendation. The 6 hour tour flew by and he got us the best spot on the ferry to get great views and photos of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Roger made sure we knew where we were going at the end of our tour. The guide tried to make it interesting with stories of clubs, graffiti artists, hip hop, police incidents, low income housing. We saw Yankee stadium, Billy Jean tennis stadium. We stopped for lunch in the heavy South American area where the waitstaff only spoke Spanish and ended up with Williamsburg the heavily conservative Jewish area where English is barely spoken too and tradition is everything. The Amish gentleman was talkative and answered all our questions. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the driver. He drove way too fast and constantly changed lanes or sat too close to cars in front until they changed lanes.
