- Janelle1 contributionI've toured with Peter 3 times and each and every time feels like a new experience. The 1st time I toured with Peter was on a Sunday afternoon and we were checking out of our Villa. It was a last minute booking for about 8 people and we had a ball, we didn't want it to end. The 2nd time I toured was for my birthday. Peter planned all the stops including dinner from beginning to end. I received bday gifts and all. It was perfect!! The 3rd time I toured with Peter was just a quick girl's trip I through together. After hearing about the good time my girls wanted to join in. Peter planned that whole tour as well including dinner.
So far Peter hasn't missed yet.
Peter picked us up from our hotel.
Everytime the wineries were all a different vibe. From outdoors to indoors to actual Vineyards. Same thing with the dinner spots from seafood to steaks. From the rewards program, trip cost, pickup and drop off points, customer service, etc. I suppose the only potential risk of a bus ride is traffic or delays but I can’t recall any major issues on this front and, even if there was, the ride is comfortable and the bus has WiFi and such. I recently took Amtrack/Acela and, though the ride was as fast and comfortable, I got off on the wrong stop in Maryland and was a bit soured by the experience. Also the train price and customer support is inferior to Vamoose. - AMBSIOld Bridge, NJ2 contributionsWe have referred few clients to them and they never let us down. From call their office to chauffeur picking up passengers everything was smooth. Few passengers requested a shield in between chauffeur and passengers which they had, along with sanitizing car before the trip. Driver who picked them up had mask on, so the rides were pretty safe. - L_A15 contributionsGetting the tickets and the coach there and back was fine, done this loads of times and well worth the trip. This time the only down point was the rudeness of the driver there, who spoke to me when I asked a simply question about my ticket, like I was the stupidest person alive. - Melissa C1 contributionI've taken both Ourbus and Greyhound back and forth several times between NYC and Atlantic City. They both have their plus and minuses. Ourbus feels a little less sketchy (waiting for the bus at the Greyhound station in NYC feels dangerous at times). Greyhound has better shading for the ride. I have to wear both sunglasses and a hat to avoid the glare through the windows on Ourbus. The Wifi has been consistently better on Greyhound. I think the leg room is about the same between the two. I will warn you not to buy the Superpass on Ourbus if you are a person who needs to cancel/switch times because they steal your discount you paid for when you do this. - Paul L30 contributionsWe used this company twice while in New York, both times they exceeded our expectations! The smartest and most polite drivers you could ever hope to encounter.
Our drivers David & Michael, were brilliant! Both went out of their way to make sure two British visitors were looked after in the best possible way. Booking was straightforward, with any queries quickly responded to by the office. The cars were on time (early!) and spotlessly clean; you couldn't ask for a better service.

For $16, the Newark Airport Express got me to Grand Central in 35 minutes (at 8:30 in the evening) and the bus left promptly on time. However, I was surprised to be on an old urban city bus that had been retired by the MTA. I really wonder whether it was legal for such a bus to run on highways and whether it could pass a safety inspection. The bus also had the genuine reek of stale urine. - terip10251 contributionIt claims entertainment but the TV screens never came on and if your phone is dead then you have no entertainment. It felt very bumpy and loud ride and we were burning up. Our driver was super friendly and helpful, he had to wait for us for an hour as our flight delayed but without any extra charge. I reached out to the driver day of to see if he could come 15 minutes earlier so we could decorate before the surprise and he was so accommodating. Allen was also so patient with all of the stops we were adding along the way.
Tom was really responsive with the booking process and answering any questions. Was supposed to arrive at 1:50, still waiting to arrive as a write this review. I’ll give some slack because it is the day before New Year’s Eve but most of the time was spent waiting on the bus driver exchange. Seats are very narrow and uncomfortable to sit on. - WorldTravelerBANew York City, NY55 contributionsI had a good experience taking this bus line from Port Authority in NYC to Albany, NY. I took a morning bus. The bus was an older model. The seats were not so comfortable. However, the bus that came in the afternoon around 3 pm was very modern and super comfortable. So the buses vary greatly.
I would ride this bus line again. I like them better than Greyhound. The passengers were mostly nice quiet college students. There were some seniors and middle aged folks on the morning bus ride. With Amtrak prices nearing $200/person we opted for the more affordable option and paid $25/person to take the express bus. And well, I guess you get what you pay for. The bus is AWFUL. It’s 41°F outside and there is NO heating. All of the armrests looks like the one pictured below. The climate control panel is missing over some seats. The driver was not pleasant at all. He started the trip by saying, “we do not make rest stops on this bus, I am a driver not a nanny. - Maddie1 contributionNYC buses are consistently late and/or cancelled, customer service is rude.
When cancelled (always last minute), the emails informing you of the cancellation only show the reschedule button at the very bottom of the email in small font, so I have before not noticed it and had to purchase a more expensive trip home.
Further, the customer service line has been rude every time I've been on the line.
