Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You get to experience years of history here with the museum's exhibits, collections and films. We saw the "I'll have what she's having...the Jewish Deli" exhibit and enjoyed the experience. It showed how Jewish delicatessens became a cornerstone of American food.

Everything about this museum is amazing. Just one block from the Spring Street stop on the E train. It has two floors of amazing historical artifacts from other US States. Pretty cool idea to offer the third floor as space for birthday parties The fire safety learning center for kids is so much fun. Can’t help being emotional in the 9/11 tribute room. Great gift shop, friendly, courteous staff and the vintage elevator adds charm to the experience. I highly recommend this museum.

Cool quick stop while exploring the city! Easy to get in and out of. The staff was very helpful. Erin did a great job as well.

The children's museum is a very nice place.
Gives the children a clever point of view about the arts.

Really nice interactive exhibits for children up to age 6. My 2 year old had a blast, especially playing with the big fire truck on the 4th floor. Would visit again!

I have 3 boys (ages 13, 10 and 7) and they all really liked this place. We were there for about an hour and a half. They had a lot of fun and with each ticket, you get to make a container of your own slime (choose the type, color, scent and 3 charms) for free. We watched the ultimate experience where people get slime dumped on them. I personally wouldn't do it. It's pretty much colored water dumped on you for a few seconds. Not worth the extra $ in my opinion. For a family of 5, this was expensive but thankfully they all loved it, which made it worth it. Is it small? Yes although from all the reviews saying how tiny it was, it was bigger than I expected. It was busy but not too crowded. Very manageable. We made a reservation online.

My 11-year-old son and I recently met a girlfriend and her 6-year-old daughter here and I was very happy that the museum held both of the children's attention for several hours. Although small, t has very cool interactive exhibits.
