We took the tour on a Saturday morning and the streets were alive and very vibrant, especially in China Town where many residents were doing their morning grocery shopping.
Our tour guide, Christian was very knowledgable and friendly as well as patient with us as we shopped at every stop he took us too!

Brian guided us through the mom and pop shops, restaurants, bakeries, and pubs of Brooklyn, while exploring their robust culinary ecosystem.
We visited 6 or 7 different local food shops - a bakery, a coffee shop, a charcuiterie, a Jewish deli, a Greek place, etc. Learned a little bit about each place, samples at each place.

The tastings were scrumptious and the bars for purchase half the (high) price they are in the few shops which carry them.
I'm so glad Raaka Chocolate set up shop in Red Hook, created jobs and a superior chocolate product.
