Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Breve spa is wonderful. The front desk personnel is so courteous and accommodating. Amanie and Saska are very professional and knowledgeable .
Lemara is great for message therapy and Josefina is excellent for facials . I highly recommend Breve Spa!

I’ve been to many spas in the Boston-area. For overall amenities and quality or services, it’s hard to top the Mandarin Oriental Spa. The check in process is seamless but thorough. Once checked in, the staff gives you a brief tour of the spa amenities, including a big beautiful hot tub, steam room, sauna, and relaxation room with teas and healthy snacks. Definitely get there at least 30 minutes before your treatment to take full advantage.

I got a deep tissue massage. I was shocked at how large and well appointed the treatment room was. The massage was very good, and the masseuse was attentive and frequently checked in with me.

Amazing spa day experience. Go solo or with a friend or two.

RelaxSation is truly a gem! Although I’d gotten used to getting my pedicures in the 'burbs, I recently remembered how incredibly relaxing and personal the experience is here so I went back. It was even better than I’d remembered! The various areas to get your nails done are both small and intimate, and quiet soothing music plays overhead. And if you’re lucky enough to get a pedicure, you’ll also get your feet soaked in warm tea and given a long foot massage that makes you feel like you’re in a luxury spa abroad! The customer service is very warm and friendly, and it’s hard not to drift away to a far-off place while you’re here getting your nails done or your massage. What a treasure to re-discover this wonderful spot!

I needed a post-marathon massage... badly. And, Bella Sante on Newbury exceeded expectations. This looks like a solid day spa, I wish I had more time to indulge in more services. My friend got a very good mani pedi, and they have the complete line of facial and body treatments. The relaxation area isn't huge, but it's luxurious, quiet and comfortable... with views out to the designer boutiques on Newbury. My massage was very good. Service all-around felt like a luxury hotel spa. The locker rooms are large and stocked with everything you could possibly need. I especially appreciate that they treated us so well, knowing we were just in town for a short visit. If I run the Boston marathon again next year, I'll make sure to book a massage and more for the following day.

Wonderful afternoon at G2O, treatments really outstanding. Salt Scrub into massage was so relaxing. Vitamin C Facial with Gina was nothing I had ever experienced. "Machine facial" was new to me but I could tell an immediate difference in my skin. Gina walked me through everything, was kind and truly outstanding. Salt cave was a different experience. After check-in, I felt pampered and staff was attentive.

Was a little disappointed when I checked in and they asked my name and what my treatments were for the day. Check-in staff was looking at my appointments in their computer and asking me why I was there (for three treatments). With the complexity of this spa's treatment menu, I honestly didn't remember what I had booked a month ago. I expected them to rattle off my appointments, whisk me away into a locker room and hand me a robe and lemon water.

Once you get past the check in staff you won't be disappointed.

The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The place was immaculate. I saw Jeff for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. He was kind, listened to what I needed and made sure the pressure was appropriate. I don’t live close to this place, but if I am in the area again, I’d def go back.

After traveling 6000 miles from home, a week of walking and a 7-hour train ride, I checked in to the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and asked the concierge where I could get a mani-pedicure on last-minute notice. It was 4:30 pm. She told me about 'Exhale' across the street on Arlington and I called. The kind receptionist told me I could have a pedicure, only, as the combination was unavailable. I took my weary dogs over to a calming entrance and lovely spa setting and was whisked in to an empty nail salon. The kind attendant took great care and time with me and conveyed no rushing or reticence to take me so late in her work day. I enjoyed the entire experience and got one of the best lasting pedicures I have ever received. Spa quality for the expected price and as I left - I realized the reception area had stayed open, waiting for her to finish my treatment. Class act. I asked if there were any yoga classes around and - they actually had classes throughout my conference week and offered a great 2-for1 deal, if I desired. Sadly my old bones couldn't handle the fast and energetic types of classes they offered - but I recommend for conference travel - that Exhale has a full service listing of desirable treats to offer any traveller.

Jommie is an exceptional massage therapist. The room is very calming and relaxing. She is very attentive to whatever issues you may be having and often checks in at the start of each massage. I have gone to many massage therapists over the years in Boston before finding Jommie and I have no need to look further. I would highly recommend this business.

At the end of a busy day touring and exploring it was fun to go to the spa and swim. The water was a little chilly for me but my grandkids loved it. You had to pass through the spa to get to the pool...it seemed very serene and I would have loved to have spent some time there getting a massage!

Bell is a miracle worker and the treatment is top notch! (especially considering the price range is less than I expected to pay) Staff is extremely welcoming, talented, and accommodating. 11/10 :)

I had never done a barre class and I found it a nice workout that was the right length of time. Frankly, I was surprised when it was done!

I sent my wife here for a day of pampering on her birthday, and she was overjoyed with the service. She said before this facial service, she might have said in the past that she “has gotten facial treatments before”. She was quick to denounce that when she came out, and told me she’s never had one better than this. Great atmosphere, wonderful hospitality, and the knowledge was all top notch. As a husband, that’s all I want to hear when I send my wife somewhere to be taken care of the right way! Very pleased.

I have had three treatments there-massage, wax and a facial— and all of them were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place conveniently located near Fenway. Friendly staff, excellent customer service.
