Tripadvisor did though not make it clear that it was two different tours, and getting hold of the tickets to the Bay Tour was a total disaster.

Our bus driver, George ( I think that's his name), was so funny, entertaining & informative. We travelled from Australia & had never been to the US before. Muir woods is beautiful with all the giant redwood tree's. There are lovely paths to walk along & the scenery is breathtaking. Then we headed to the beautiful bayside area of Sausalito, such a pretty place to take a walk along the waterfront, or eat in one of the many restaurants. We had the option of going back in the bus, or returning on the ferry. We chose the ferry. If you choose this option, make sure you have the uber app, as you will be dropped at pier 1 & not the popular pier 39 where most of the taxi's are, as we were staying at Union square. If you choose to go back by the bus, you will be dropped at you're pick up point, had we known this, we would have chosen this option.
We loved our tour, it's only a half day tour, so you have time to do other things during the day. Only down point, there was no air conditioning on the bottom half of the bus. - EmmaCirencester, UK59 contributionsA great way to spend a couple of hours in an evening, and gorgeous to see the city lit up at night! I only had 1.5 days in SF so this was a very worthwhile tour! Bought an extra hoody before boarding which was grateful for (as did get a little cold and windy, especially by Golden Gate Bridge) and meant could spend pretty much all of the trip on the upper deck for the best views! - Brenda S10 contributionsAwesome trip. Our guide was amazing and shared interesting facts with us as well as recommended local restaurants and attractions that we used for our remaining trip. We had bathroom breaks and he had snacks and water. I don’t recommend doing Alcatraz with it. Biking across the Golden Gate Bridge was an amazing experience too.

This was brilliant! When the bus first turned up at our hotel, we weren’t sure what to think! It’s an old VW camper van, but that’s not what made the whole tour extraordinary - it was our tour guide, Santa Dave! What a lovely lovely man, so friendly & knowledgeable about all of the sights he took us to visit & we really did have a ball with him. We even requested to do another tour with him that night to see the city at night - & wow! How beautiful did San Francisco look all lit up! This is a great way to see the city by day & by night. I’m so glad that we had Santa Dave to do our - he is absolutely brilliant & really made our day 🥰.
