From the friendly welcome, the interesting tour and fantastic meal and wine I cannot recommend this place enough.

We chose the guided tour and meal with wine tasting package. All in all the tour was about one hour long with some interesting historical stories about Verrazzano and the wine making process. We then had the meal in the main restaurant which was four courses of traditional Tuscan food. We started with a cold meat and cheese platter moved onto a pasta dish and then onto some grilled sausage and chops finished off with some apple cake, the whole meal was paired with wines from the Veranzzano winery. My wife who is mainly vegetarian requested this option and the quality of the vegetarian meal was excellent with a wide variety of different Tuscan delicacies

The quality of the wines and food was exceptional and the amount we received was more than enough. We went away feeling extremely full!

The views you get from the tour are stunning as is the whole area. I highly recommend the trip to the Verrazzano castle and one of the organised tours.

Fantastic winery and family. We had the good fortune of arriving on bottling day. The father, Fernando, and his daughter Alessia could not have been more gracious. The winery is a small 12-acre family-owned winery which has a long history. The wine is spectacular. If you are looking for an authentic family-owned and run winery, that produces an outstanding wine and welcomes guests, I highly recommend Montefioralle.

Wonderful small winery that produces about 17,000 bottles a year. We made reservations beforehand and then waited for another group for about 15-20 min to start the tour and they never showed. Another couple happened to come after we had been on tour about 10 min so they were nice to include them but then we almost started the tour over which was nice for the new couple, but made a long tour for us.

The wine is delicious. The views from the terrace where the tastings are is gorgeous.
The snacks they served with the tastings of six wines was more of a fabulous meal! Meat, cheeses, olive oil, special bread and then bread with a fabulous sausage concoction on top!

The owner,Paola, came and chatted with us. He is very creative and ambitious with his plans for new grapes and new wines for the future. Good to see a small winery doing so well! We are so happy that we included this winery in our itinerary! We purchased some wine to take home to enjoy after our trip!

Totally enjoyed our visit and tasting!! A very relaxed approach to exploring a wide variety of wines. We also enjoyed hearing about the various terroirs where the wine comes from, and experiencing the nuance of this in our tastings. Unhurried and comfortable, we saw the barrel aging cellar and private bottle cellar.

The problem with wine tasting at most estates is that you are locked into whatever that estate produces and that one is not always interested in tasting 5 different wines from one estate. Moving between estates takes time, often requires booking and may involve significant tasting fees. In my opinion, Enoteca Falorni is the best tasting option and has several major advantages over the wine estates:
    1) It is located in Greve in Chianti which is easy to get to and offers other things to do and see for those in the group who are not interested in wine tasting.
    2) It allows you to sample the same grape variety from several vineyards which I find a more useful and educational experience.
    3) At between 2 and 7 euro per wine tasted, it is a far more cost-effective option than most vineyards tasting fees, especially when some members of the party want to taste 2 wines and other 8 wines.

We can confirm that much to our dismay this place is closed as Stephano passed in his sleep in January 2020 due to heart attack

Diego, the wine maker, gave us an amazing tour. The grounds are simply stunning! After our tour, we had lunch in a private room. The food was out out of this world and Diego matched the wines perfectly with the food. This was a fantastic lunch! After lunch, we were able to relax on the patio with a glass of wine. We stayed in Panzano for the month of September and we visited many wineries. Out of all of the tours, this one was the memorable! Thank you Diego for creating such a fond memory for us!

The apartment over the wine store was spacious and impeccably furnished. We even had our own private garden. The church bells were heartwarming. Matteo and his wife were superb hosts. This was our favorite location in our month long travels in the Tuscany area. Highly recommend. Once in a lifetime experience. Oh, and the wine… amazing. Had to ship some home and it is only opened for very special friends 😉

Went here during the Panzano wine festival. The wines were very good and we bought several bottles. Andrea and son were very nice. I recommended them to our wine store for possible contact
