Beautiful grounds and butterflies sanctuary but would not recommend pre and post season. We went early May so most of the grounds hadn’t bloomed yet so though still lovely it was nothing like the pictures. Would recommend during peak period to make most of its potential beauty. We loved the butterfly sanctuary (though very hot) and the Japanese garden area breathtaking. Great for couples, solo and families especially young.

My husband and I visited Hershey on a history-filled trip. We are not museum-type people but if something interests us we will give it a go. We didn’t know much about the history of Hershey so we decided to check it out. I must say Milton Hershey restored my faith in humanity. He was an amazing man and I’m so glad we went here. It’s not about chocolate per se it’s about a man, his dream and how he overcame all of his obstacles. The staff are incredibly helpful and there is a chocolate tasting and other activities offered. We were extremely pleased with our visit.

We traveled from Maine to visit Hershey for the first time. We bought season passes ahead of time because we figured it is cheaper overall.
My daughter (9) and myself are the only one who goes on rides. We did attend over Easter weekend.

    1. The first day we went, Good Friday, it was craziness. We waited in line for two hours at guest services to get our passes. We never got into the park until 1:30. We realized at that time we needed to come earlier.

    2. Once in the park it was an absolute madhouse. All the coaster had 2 hour wait times and the app didn’t update appropriately. We basically spent the first day, about 6 hours, walking around the park trying to find a ride for my daughter to go on. I think that day she only went on Frog Hopper lol.
We had decided to leave before the park closed and knew we would be back the next day.

    3. The second day (Saturday) we were more prepared. We arrived early and waited in line at the gates to open for about an hour. Definitely worth it. Once inside we ran right to Candymonium (BEST RIDE EVER!!)
We did a few other rides as well but the lines filled up fast.

    4. The third day we went it was a pretty cold day, even started snowing. This caused some of the rides to close down. Which was expected. We still were able to ride a few coasters.

All in all it was a fun three days. I actually loved the park. It was crazy busy the first couple days but after going to Disney this was nothing. It is early in the year so a few rides were shut down. Which was unfortunate. I believe due to weather and staffing, which I understand.

This park is CLEAN. So clean that I literally dropped a fry on the ground and before I could pick it up to throw it away a worker was there sweeping it up. Bathrooms are super clean too.

I am a bigger girl and was worried I couldn’t go on rides with my daughter. I was happy that I could ride most coasters except Great Bear, which I really wanted to go on. It gives me motivation to make sure I fit next time.

Although we are 9 hours away and weren’t able to go on a lot of rides this visit we are so excited to come back.

I really enjoyed the large collection of buses. I travel often with a tour company on large and pushy Prevost motor coaches. It was interesting to see how far they come over the years. This was just an overall great experience in every regard.

Good selection of beers, food selection has improved - however the food was cold. Very crowded and staff did not seem to want to wait on people

We visited the zoo in February after an overnight stay in Hershey. The weather was high 40’s, so we weren’t sure if we would see all the animals. We saw all of them though some were sleeping. It’s not a large zoo but it is well maintained and the animals looked healthy and well taken care of. It’s very clean. They have a nice walking path clearly marked which way to go. I love all animals and try to go to zoos wherever we visit and would recommend if you haven’t seen this one it’s worth seeing.

Excellent venue to see a show. Have been coming here for many, many years. Have seen travelling Broadway shows, musicals, comedians. It is gorgeous inside, very old building. If you have a chance to see a show at this historic theater, do it. I do think the seats could use some refurbishment though. Even the Orchestra seats are a bit worn and not terribly comfortable.

We went to a Bears game with friends. It’s a great venue for a hockey game…easy to move around, find your seats, lighting, etc. My biggest complaint is Hershey parking fees, they’re ridiculous!!! $20 to park?!?!? We already paid for tickets, come on!

We stopped here in our way out of town. We spent an hour here. There was a lot of cool things to look at. The employees here were the most attentive that I've encountered at such a store. When we found something, they would keep it at the register for us. They were very helpful. We brought home several items. I would recommend this stoyto any of e who likes a good flea market.

We enjoyed the factory tour ride, and it's great that it is a free experience. We did not try other things like the movie or making your own candy bar, because they seem really over-priced. But the candy and souvenirs actually are really reasonably-priced and there is a lot of variety.

Good selection of retail stores. There were a few upscale brand factory stores, but many were outlets for regular traditional retail chains. There was ample parking.

First, this review is of the facilities and not the concert itself. (The Jonas Brothers were fabulous!!) Getting to the stadium took 45 mins (when normal it’s 15). This was due to no one directing traffic. No one. Anywhere. Even once in the parking lot, there was one person pointing to a row, but she didn’t seem to know what she was doing.

The stadium itself was fine. Nothing fancy, but it was a perfect evening and the concert was great.

THEN....leaving! Oh. My. Goodness!! Now I understand why people park 2 miles away and walk in! It literally took us 2 HOURS to get out of the parking lot. Again. NO ONE WAS DIRECTING TRAFFIC! As we were leaving the lot, we saw 10 people together with flashlights and orange vests, but they were talking to each other and not doing anything. I am sure there were others that it took them 3+ hours to exit. That is ridiculous!!

Hershey needs to take pointers from other large venues and actually implement traffic control. It does not have to be like this! What makes me sad is that it left us with a sour taste at the end of an otherwise great evening. I am imagining artists will wise up and stop using facilities that don’t take care of their fans.

We were in the area for the AACA region's Fall Car Meet. The event takes up all of the parking lots around the Arena, as well as, uses the Arena for many of it's events. The Arena facilities are always well maintained and open for our use. The Arena staff are always accommodating and professional. Great Customer Service always makes for happy customers.

A building that stands tall along the rest -- you can see it for a good distance when coming near Milton Hershey School. Currently under construction, hopefully will be opening again soon for all to see grand and large building!
