Beyond that industrial port near the mouth of the river, there is a very beautiful state park and Fort Fisher.

We even were able to swim with sharks, as well as stingrays, at Sea Life Park Hawaii, which was a huge adrenaline rush!
My experiences at Sea Turtle Camp made me extremely devoted to turtles especially being able to personally release two of the turtles back into the ocean at Sea Life Park.

This park has lots of walking paths, great for walking, jogging, dog walking, etc. Lots picnic shelters, ball fields, playgrounds, restrooms, etc.
Gorgeous area for hiking, strolling, playing... Water park for little kids, play areas, picnic shelters, dog park, turtle pond, I could go on and on... Great place to spend a day!!

They’ve got water activities, playgrounds, a nice loop around the park for hiking or biking, docks to view animal life like turtles and alligators.
The path that circles the park is magical as the lake and all the lush trees are so beautiful.

Great nature trail; if you just want to stroll or bike, there are picnic areas, playground as well as offering various other classes too!
Really really calming - Good for mobility issues A handicapped-accessible 1.3 mile hiking and biking trail circles the perimeter of the park and is open free to the public.

It is great to get to see so many different animals up-close in such a clean and beautifully landscaped park!
I am writing this review to respond to the reviewers who think they can, with a 30 minute trip, become instantaneous experts on private zoos, animals, private zoos and Tregembo Animal Park in particular.
