- Ife37 contributionsSolid music. Great vibe. Great tap selection. Josh is on point. Highly recommend. The historic house feel felt like a trip back to a high school party in the 80s but the chill crowd.Written 9 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melanie RobinsonMyrtle Beach, SC57 contributionsBeing from Myrtle Beach, we wanted a place to avoid crowds. [See my review of Wilson Lake]. Ibam also a bridge photographer, so I love to find different styles all over the USA.
This trail started at the Tar River Bridge. We were able to get pictures above and below it. Along the trail there were places to climb down, see the river and other spots to rest and be out of the sun. It was 80° when we went and it was just a beautiful 3 mile hike for myself, my husband, 14 year old daughter and 6 year old shepherd lab mix dog, Justice.
As we walked further along the trail, we ended up in Battle Park which was also beautiful. The waterfall dam, the view from the gazebo and the multiple bridges along the way. We found one area that had graffiti, but that's not uncommon for people to deface beauty. Other than that, we can't wait to come Back!Written 15 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Evey HBeaufort, NC58 contributionsThe Dunn center was an excellent venue for the Bob Ross exhibit, or for any other exhibit for that matter. This was an impromptu trip planned by some other friends; they were the ones who told us about the exhibit.
The students and the security officer or campus security staff were all very professional, welcoming, helpful amiable and treated everyone with kindness and with a can-do attitude. They had Photoshop opportunities they had souvenirs. They had a trivia game set up that made the whole exhibit fun and educational for all ages .
This was a really nice way to spend the day. It was well worth the trip.Written 4 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. What an awesome, spacious, dog park for our little guy to get some exercise after a long trip. Heads up: Closed for maintenance 8/11/21-8/15/21. This is a great stop for those traveling up the east coast with their dogs. Convenient from area hotels. Huge amount of space for both small and large dogs as well as an agility course.Written 12 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J EFredericksburg, VA8,949 contributionsOn our way south on 95, we stopped in Rocky Mount for lunch. This is a BEAUTIFUL mixed use district, only a few miles east of 95, definitely worth the stop! There are restaurants, shops and it’s a beautiful, riverfront place to sit, decompress and enjoy the quiet beauty while dining!Written 31 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eleanor M1 contributionSunset Park has a beautiful carousel, a nice train, and a wonderful Splash Park. I am very disappointed it isn’t open in the mornings. The afternoons are way too hot to play in the sun with toddlers. Most days are in the 90’s. If the park was open at least by 10am little ones could enjoy all the fun before it gets to hot. Thank you and I hope you will consider this suggestion!Written 1 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
