What travellers are saying
- Steve ABonne Terre17 contributionsWhiteside Mountain trail is a mostly easy, sometimes moderate trail to an absolutely gorgeous vantage point above several other mountains and bodies of water.
We went on a weekday in the early morning and only saw one other person. We took a lot of pictures and enjoyed the hike.Written 4 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - JujuB8 contributionsNot well marked if you don't have a map. Difficult to pick up where it obviously ends at any point. Only did about 2 miles of it so maybe other parts are better.Written 22 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Brian BIndianapolis, IN92 contributionsThis is a really nice scenic overlook along a scenic road. Definitely worth the trip if you're in the area.Written 21 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lanierprincess2013Clarkston, GA84 contributionsWhat a wonderful day exploring Highlands area in the Mercedes G Wagon. The Wagon had a great propane heater and blankets to wrap up in but was open so you could enjoy the sights.
Justin was our Guide, he customized the adventure as we have hiked in the the area before and wanted to experience something new. Our group loved learning a little bit of history of the area, learning new flora and fauna and even smelled a bear on the trial.
We hiked Satulah Mountain. What a surprise to have hot chocolate and s'mores while taking in the gorgeous views.
One of the highlights was having Justin's Mountain Guide Dog "Aussie" along for the trip.
Definitely would recommend, we will be back in the summer and would like to do the kayaking trip.Written 2 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Lkn4meKnoxville, TN147 contributionsThis place is a hidden gem!!
