Definitely worthwhile, with good historical content and native american lore along with hiking info.
Do watch your speed. The "host" does warn that going too fast will cut off some "stories"; the app tracks where you are and will skip to the next module. I was careful to mind the speed limit or slower, and some stories still cut off.

I really liked the history provided except for the old earth perspective of the formation of the Smoky Mountains. Be careful preaching creation theory as fact.

When we went they only had two exhibits but the main exhibit was still under construction. The information they had in these exhibits was very informative. It is a great stop before you get to the Smokey mountains.

Amazing views and look overs. Unfortunately the inn, gift shops and toilets en route were closed! We will hopefully get the chance or do the Northern half do the route in future (our starting point was Asheville).

Thank you, Wes, for taking us to see the Smoky Mountains for the first time in our lives. It was an unforgettable experience, and we learned so much about the history of the mountains, the Elkmont Club, and the Cherokee communities.

It was amazing to discover that elk can only be seen in the North Carolina part of the park, and we were lucky to see them during our visit! Wes went above and beyond to help us spot wildlife in the mountains, and we truly appreciate his effort and dedication.

This trip was both educational and enjoyable, and we are so grateful for the experience. Highly recommend Wes to anyone looking to explore the Smoky Mountains!

The road is excellent, low speed limit and plenty of places to pull off and see the view. The views are spectacular. The little streams next to the mountain side are just beautiful.

I am sure it would have been great but it also would have been helpful if the app owners could have provided an update on what has been reopened after Hurricane Helene. Near Asheville there were only 11 miles of road open and while beautiful we felt as if we should stay out of the way of the working crews who were working hard to restore this wonderful area.
    Stay Strong, Asheville!
