What travellers are saying
- ThomUSAEl Paso, TX770 contributionsBeing only about 30 minutes from the Strip, it is definitely worth the detour. BEAUTIFUL!!! If you like hiking, there are plenty of trails to take. When I send pics to people they cannot believe it is only 30 minutes from the Strip.Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SueGamPittsburgh, PA22 contributionsWe bought the happy hour tickets which are extra. You can get as many drinks as you want and can walk off with your unfinished drink. Of course, these tickets cost extra. Would recommend doing this with a group. You have your own private bartender. You can also buy a drink to take on the ride in line - not sure what the price difference would be to buy the non happy hour ticket with a drink in line. Would recommend doing this at night. It's a 1 time only type of thing in my opinion - nice view of the strip.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JeffMarion, IN97 contributionsIt is much less busy during weekdays. Thursday evening through the weekend can be a little chaotic. We weary of street performers and random people trying to hand you things on the street. They will ask for a picture with you or hand you a CD and demand payment for it. Unless you're willing to pay strangers for something you didn't ask for, it's best to avoid eye contact completely with these people. Other than that, the people watching and site seeing is great!Written 28 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JeffMarion, IN97 contributionsThe fountains are cool to watch during the day, but everyone must go watch them at night. The lights and the music really make it something to see. It gets crowded down there, but there’s really not a bad view from anywhere.Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- dwhetstoneSalida, CA16 contributionsGreat tour. Learned so much that I never knew about--including celebrities. A little graphic at times.Written 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KShaudhrySaint Louis, MO18 contributionsThe people at the front desk are kinda friendly. The workers who take you up are very nice and friendly! 😊Written 3 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AlwaysTraveling65Green Bay, WI72 contributionsWe used our Go City cards to experience these amazing views. We were there about 10p so all the great city light views. It was warm and breezy and just some amazing moments. - JeffMarion, IN97 contributionsThis was a neat place to check out while walking the strip. It's a great way to spend some time out of the sun. And it's an awesome place to take photos.Written 28 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Billy3 contributionsSuch an educational experience, well worth the short drive from Las Vegas. Can't believe how the completed during the times of the depreciation.Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MayaMidlothian, VA14 contributionsStopped by for a quick picture. Small parking lot but easily found a space. Line was not too long. Asked the family in front t of us to take a picture for us. Definitely not the best choice as the pictures the man took had the sign cut off so it read “To Las Veg Nevada” Fortunately my husband took selfies which turned out great.Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- tonya wAustin, TX52 contributionsDo this if you have a few minutes and get a discounted ticket. It is iteresting to see all the artifacts.Written 30 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TKSSHAMMIENixa, MO313 contributionsLots of places to eat and shop, and security keeps most of the “rif raf” out, so you aren’t being harassed by anyone. Seems like some of the places are still having staffing issues and are not open everyday or close earlier than other places on the Promenade.Written 7 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- texsmurfportland, texas32 contributionsFremont Street is something to see, but please be prepared for what you will see...especially if you are bringing children. We went during the day, with teens, and I wanted to cover their eyes at times...lol. It is Vegas but just wanted to give parents with young children a heads up...I am sure it is even wilder at night.Written 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Joe PPretoria, South Africa217 contributionsIf you are into cars and specifically Shelby, then this is a must. Entrance was free (at the time of our visit), so we spend a little bit more in the museum shop. Prices were very reasonable.Written 15 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Vinny_Vegas1Tampa, FL127 contributionsGet a break from the strip and head to Mt Charleston. We took a hike up to Mary Jane Falls and unfortunately, the winds were EXTREMELY high. We did not make it up to the peak, but we had a great time anyway. Being from Florida, it is rare to see snow, but on this trip, we did get to play in small snow patches around the trails. Tip if you are from low lying areas of the US... Be prepared to stop and catch your breath every now and then. The altitude on the hike reaches 8K-9K ft. If you are not used to it, you will feel it.Written 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
