On our most recent trip to Las Vegas we decided to walk the 3/4 mile accessible trail at Calico Basin that was closed for renovation during our 2019 vacation. It is any easy walk among spring fed trees and greenery with lots of birds present. The nearby hills offer a stark, but scenic contrast.

The Vegas Strip is one of the most interesting streets in America. I really enjoyed it. Below are a couple of takeaways in order to save money.

1, Don't take pictures with showgirls and Hollywood characters. They will ask you to pay some money aggressively.

    2. Please buy beer, soda, water, and other essentials at Walgreen, CVS, or Target. The stores offer cheaper prices than stores at hotels.

    3. Use the Deuce bus. You can buy the 24-hour valid ticket at the RTC app.

    4. Popular free attractions such as Mirage volcano, and Bellagio's water shows are very short like 5 minutes. Check the schedule.

    5. Early morning is not so crowded to walk around.

    Enjoy!

The best free show in Vegas. It lasted for the entirety of Viva Las Vegas (just over 2 minutes). Maybe if I watched other shows or it was longer it would get 5 stars. It’s worth a stop to see.

We loved this museum. It is truly one-of-a-kind. The story of organized crime in America is fascinating. This museum took us 3 hours, because we read everything and looked at everything. Especially enjoyed the video interviews with undercover agents. We added on the distillery tasting. Our guide for that was this super-tall lady whose name I didn't get. I'm 6'6" and she was probably about 6'2". Anyway get her for your guide if you can because she was really great at explaining the process of moonshine, the history of our glorious bout with Prohibition and other cool bits of history. The underground and speakeasy is really really cool. If you're staying on the Strip, this museum is about a 15 minute uber ride. It is just north of Fremont Street

We stay, play and dine off strip, but the one mandatory visit to the Las Vegas Strip is to Bellagio to enjoy the seasonal botanical garden display. This trip coincided with the "Flights of Fancy" spring display that we found to be
one of the, if not, the best ever. Included are various forms of flight from hot air balloons, butterflies and hummingbirds. An amazing number of flowers are included with colors ranging from deep reds to purples, pinks, yellows and blues. These seasonal displays are to be missed. Parking at Bellagio is free if you can tear yourself away from the exhibit within one hour.

Short drive from Las Vegas, highly recommend this drive. The dam and the highway connecting Nevada & Arizona are spectacular. The tour is well worth the money. Recommend driving just past the paid parking for free parking

I gave here 5 stars because it's free! lol. It was located far from the center of the Strip. If you stay in Luxor or Mandalay , you may walk. I used Deuce bus. Please but the bus tickets at the RTC app.

There were a lot of people. I saw some parking spots, but no one could guarantee your spot.Deuce bus is a better way to go.

Someone offered to take a picture. Later, I heard that they asked people to pay tips aggressively after the photoshoot! There are a lot of scams and rip off in this sin city!

Anyway, here is a must-visit place!

Lots of places to eat and shop, and security keeps most of the “rif raf” out, so you aren’t being harassed by anyone. Seems like some of the places are still having staffing issues and are not open everyday or close earlier than other places on the Promenade.

Walk it up and down once or twice. See the many characters, street artists, the madness of Vegas within a few blocks of walking. Heavy police/security presence. The best and worst of America in under a square mile.

A great outdoor hiking alternative in the summertime, Generally cool and a lot of shade around 8000 ft. beats walking the strip or a casino

Pretty spectacular show. The volcano comes to life and you can feel the heat from the flames. Worth the wait to watch it erupt.

Visited Las Vegas from UK last week and this was one of the top attractions on my to do list. I was on my own for the visit. Absolutely did not disappoint. I would recommend upgrading to RIP tour to get the most out of it - I upgraded last minute before starting the tour and was really pleased that I did - you get loads of extra stuff included on the tour. The guides and security staff bring the narrative to life and are super friendly/helpful. It has to be said, the energy of certain parts of the museum is just mad and for any ghost hunting enthusiasts, it would be a really interesting place and should convert any non-believers! - I’m definitely of the opinion that it’s haunted! (I’d recommend special attention to basement and freak show - both part of RIP tour as that’s where I had personal experiences). Even if you don’t experience anything paranormal, it’s still a creepy and interesting experience and well worth the entrance fee.

My family loves visiting the Pinball Hall of Fame! The new location is fantastic. It is much bigger, has a lot of great additions and in close proximity to the strip for tourists!

The staff is always fantastic and is so kind to our 8-year-old son (who always has a blast.) Occasionally he has had to be gently reminded not to run around the many old and fragile vintage games. The staff has to work very hard to keep those games up and running, and they are always quick to help when a game goes down.

It does get crowded on the weekends, so weekdays are when we usually go. The best part is that it is so affordable! Lots of 25¢, 50¢ and $1 games (compared to other nearby arcades that charge $3-4 per game.) It is definitely a place to take the whole family!
