We went during the day, with teens, and I wanted to cover their eyes at times...lol. Entrance was free (at the time of our visit), so we spend a little bit more in the museum shop. Like any high end place nothing is cheap or even reasonable, price is the price for nice. If your budget allows this place is great. With Resorts World across the street now that adds in more options for eating/gaming. We did not, but were lucky to get in relatively fast and the staff are some of most helpful and friendly staff , I have encountered anywhere. Five of us took the tour. I wasnt sure what to expect, as I am not a fan of haunted houses or anything scary. I have to say it was very interesting. It is in an old house in Las Vegas that has a history, not a happy history. We took the standard tour, there is a VIP pass, that just seemed to have a little extras, that were not worth it for us. Some of the rooms are very interesting, especially if you are into "dark" history. Such as Dr Kevorkian, which isnt scary, but sad. Other rooms you have the choice to not visit, that hold demonic items. Second, get there early and walk throughout to get a sense of what is there. Plan to spend a couple hours playing and enjoying yourself. The machines are lively and fun to play. If you’re 50+ you’ll be able to reminisce. Got ready to leave and a guy asked us to come with him to the back door and out comes Danny aka “The Count” and he was just super cool! Took pics with us and hung out a bit! Great experience! Women beware: hand bangs are not allowed. It must be about as small as your phone, otherwise they confiscate it or you have to get out of line and go back to your hotel room. It is air conditioned, and you can't help to look up and see the ceiling, the gondola's only seem to sing in certain spots on the journey. - Kelly K1 contributionPretty impressed with the reservation team with MGM Resorts. I booked a stay at the Bellagio back at the beginning of May using an offer for comped nights. My husband found out he has to take a class for work on the day we were supposed to be flying home so we had to extend our stay a day. I was trying to figure out the easiest and cheapest way to add the extra night at the hotel since it wouldn't let me edit the reservation. If I just added the room on my own it would have been an extra $450 so I called...I hate talking on the phone. The lady I talked to was able to get me the extra night in the fountain view room, an additional $25 freeplay from my original offer and an additional $50 in food and drink credits from the original offer and it only added $20 to the original amount. I was really stressing out about this but Vanessa was so pleasant and helpful and made the entire change so easy.
