Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was really cool to experience and we had fun. The cool thing is we went early - and were in a relatively empty room -- but we would not have known really -- so that is a positive. The servers were ton of fun and loved their jobs. The negative and positive was that you could hear others around you talk about their food before you got yours -- which slightly influenced and might have ruined a few dishes. At the same time, hearing others talking afterwards was a ton of fun to see how we compared.

The food itself was interesting, but we felt the flavors and quality of items chosen were on level with a high-school cafeteria. Nothing was amazing and nothing warranted a $200 price tag for two. I would say go once in your life for the fun -- but in future, just buy a bandanna and go to any restaurant. If you are blind, then stay away -- as you will not appreciate the experience and the food will not make up for it.

The class was really good and the instructors great. We had a pretty good size class but it looks like they couldn't maintain a positive cash flow. We would take a class here again if it reopens.

Our experience with Chef Gilzel was terrific! She taught Beginning Sushi to my 12 year old grandson and myself. Very hands on and she’s very detail oriented.
We learned to utilize smart knife techniques, slicing tuna for a tataki recipe that features ponzu and fried garlic, we also made two rolls and a sliced maki filled with spicy tuna, salmon, avocado and shrimp tempura. You can finish the class with a sweet mango sticky rice for dessert. We opted for mochi ice cream instead due to allergies. Chef Gilzel is a young, dynamic Sushi chef who has great people skills as well as being an extremely skilled chef. Great activity for families or couples
