Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed on the mountain and luckily it was after a good snow fall. The skiing was very good. The rentals were easy to arrange, the equipment was good, the lifts are very high tech and it was not too crowded. The rooms were very comfortable: we stayed at Village Center and the rooms and main lobby were very attractive. Staff were very courteous and helpful —includes the bell boy, the registration desk staff, and the workers at the restaurants and the breakfast buffet. We decided to ski Big Sky over some other choices because the free breakfast tipped the pricey ski vacation in their favor. And the breakfast buffet is very good :). Now, the cocktails are pricey but there is a good amount of flavorful alcohol in them. We ate at Carabiner, Stone Pizza and Chet’s. All exquisite flavors. The outside hot tub under the stars was very warm which I like and they also have an outside heated pool. We truly enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

We had a little bit of time before our flight out of Bozeman so we stopped at this highly rated trail. And, now we know why it is so highly rated. This is a lovely trail, especially in the winter. It can be a bit slick after a snowfall, so take care.

My daughter and I spent a wonderful morning cross country skiing on beautifully groomed trails. Going by all the draft horses (12 teams at least) enjoying their breakfast was an added treat. The gear was great and the help setting us up was knowledgable and fun. The cookies after were pretty good too!

A truly unique experience if you are fortunate enough to swing a visit. There are some places so exclusive that once inside, they actually feel kicked back. Here, the staff is so totally professional that they blend into the scenery, while still always being there to provide whatever you need. Want to carry your own gear? Sure, they'll just ask if you want some directions to the stashes. Want to be helped? You'll be told without asking that your skis will be waiting by the Warren Miller statue, just ask if you can't find them. And your skis WILL be there. There's no show of "service dramatics" like Deer Valley. It's the happy staff's job to be unobtrusive, but they'll discuss the best runs in the French Alps or the Selkirks with you if you engage them in conversation. This is one of those rare atmospheres where EVERYONE is inside the velvet rope, so nobody is thinking about anything but the exquisite skiing. Picture a day at Megeve, Kirkwood, Snow Basin or Aspen Highlands with nobody there but you and your buds. Breakfast in a cavernous room fit for alpine royalty is "take whatever you want, sit wherever you want." No staff snootiness. The steep and deep is here if you want it (and the great Scott Schmidt will show you how to get to the goods himself), and the groomers on a good snow day rival the best that Snowmass can offer. In short, there's no reason not to love this place as much as you love Bridger or Revvy or Cham. It's the real deal, just presented in a different way. The only trick is swinging that invite.

Excellent experience. Only place we found that did winter rides, and it did not dissapoint. Also, love that they let you customize your ride (we wanted 4 hour ride instead of the usual 1-2 hours, and Caroline was a great guide. Worked to make sure that each saddle setup was proper for each rider, and was knowledgeable about plants and wildlife. We took a trail into the National Forest, and then just explored. Amazing ride through snow, sage, forest and hills. Horse is a great way to experience the wildernes, and we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Will definitely use them again, and would recommend to others going to Big Sky/Bozeman.

What an amazing service; you rent items and they bring to your hotel. Then, if something goes wrong, or doesn't fit well, they will immediately meet you at the Mountain and take care of business. Friendly staff and without an attitude. I owe you guys one.... Do me a favor and tip these guys, they work hard. Thank you!

What a wonderful place to ski this December. The lifts were great, the snow was perfect, the accommodations were spotless, and the best thing was the attention to detail and helpfulness of the amazing staff everywhere. We ate in the bar two days at noon and the main restaurant one night and every single meal was EXCELLENT! I Love, Love, Loved the Power Salad at lunch- I had it both days. It was filling but didn’t leave you bloated for going back out to ski. Some of our party also had the Nachos ( I wish I had taken a picture,) it was unbelievable, the Rueben, and another salad that they said was Great! At the main restaurant, I had the French Onion Soup for my main course and it was the best I had ever had and mostly bc it wasn’t so salty. PERFECT! My husband had the pork chop and he gave me a bite, it was excellent, and the rest had steaks that I took pictures of and were perfect. The game room was perfect for the kids to spend time in while we adults had a little time to ourselves, and the ski slopes were perfect this weekend. What a GREAT time we had.

We picked up some Swix items we had been eyeing for some time, on a great end of season sale. The people in the shop were very nice.

We traveled with a small group from Massachusetts. had a fantastic time on the Gallatin River split into several rafts under the expert care and guidance of Archer, Lars, Orin and Ortiz! They had people stationed at various points along the river to get great photos of us on our adventure. The river wasn't too wild at the time so it was a wonderful, low impact whitewater rafting introduction for those who haven't done this before. I highly recommend Geyser Whitewater if you're staying i the area!

We are so thrilled that we chose Yellowstone Luxury Tours for our Yellowstone National Park visit! Our tour guide was Dillon, and he was absolutely the best! His smile and outgoing friendly personality makes you instantly feel like you are greeting a friend. He never stopped giving us information, answering questions and pointing out sites from the moment he picked us up until he returned us back to our cabin in Big Sky at the end of the day. He even gave us history and information on all lodges and hotels in the park. He knew how high the waterfalls are, comparing them to Niagara. His knowledge of the area and information he provided were invaluable! So we didn’t just “see”, we “learned”!
The van was clean and new, and a very comfortable and luxurious ride. Dillon made sure we all saw everything possible, he knew the shortcuts in and around the park to avoid long lines, he announced every possible bathroom break, he made suggestions for our other days in the area, and even gave us restaurant information near our cabin.
He packed a delicious lunch for us (a salad for our grain-free person), and had a cooler full of water bottles, making sure we stayed hydrated in that dry area. He found a beautiful spot for a picnic at a lone table on a lake, where there was no one else.
The only thing we missed that day was seeing a bear, but we saw every other animal possible. He suggested we visit the Grizzly and Wolf Rescue in West Yellowstone, which we did the very next day, and loved it, and saw 2 Grizzlys there.
I would suggest Yellowstone Luxury Tours to anyone visiting the park. If not only for the convenience of someone knowing their way around, it is also great for everyone to be able to sightsee and not miss a moment of that beautiful park without having to worry about where they’re driving. It is especially important because there is frequently no cell service or GPS available in many areas of the park.
What a fantastic and memorable day we had!
