- JeramieMarion, IL874 contributionsDo you like Hot Rods & Americana?
If you answered yes, this place is for you! Fast Lane Classic Cars has a wonderful assortment of both classic cars and hot rods for sale.
It's like a museum where most) items are for sale. We exchanged pleasantries with the owner, nice guy and obviously very passionate about his business. Great gift shop too! I'm providing several pictures to show just how great their collections really are.Written 22 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dank493Falcon, CO325 contributionsWe both had an excellent time. My wife likes to spend a little on the machines. I like a quiet, contemplative place to read or write. We both got exactly what we wanted!! The room was dead quiet, despite being right across from the elevators. Not a sound from the hall all night. The beds were very comfortable. Limited selection of channels on the TV - - but who goes to an Ameristar to watch TV?!??! Totally AWESOME soaking tub with plenty of hot water. Take a little while to watch the fountain in the lobby! It is absolutely mesmerizing!
The Dining choices are excellent! Be sure you get a quick chat on where the restaurants are all located. We chose Bugatti's Steak and Pasta. We had the Onion Soup and a Caesar Salad - - because my wife is gluten sensitive. ***YUM!*** a humble soup and salad dinner that had WONDERFUL flavor all through. We chose well. (Wish they had gluten free pasta!)
This is the third Ameristar we've visited, and this place is fantastic.Written 22 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RFJ7 contributionsThis free conservation area amid a growing suburban area offers a easy access to pond, wildlife, fishing, and hiking. Although the fishing is never as productive as one would hope, it is still a very convenient and accessible location for a fun outing. With a few worms and inexpensive fishing poles, you can entertain the kids for several hours with fun, fresh air, and maybe even a few fish to eat.Written 15 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - barkus1968Saint Louis, MO4,215 contributionsThis is really a horrifying example of human abuse of the planet and each other. But the EPA has managed to create a museum showing how bad it was and how great they were in burying the toxicity under a giant pile of rocks.
This place is so surreal.
It’s worth visiting. There is quite a bit of propaganda.
They have a beautiful butterfly garden.Written 21 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We parked at the back, hoping it would be easier to get out of the parking...not, ended up just waiting 40 minutes for it to clear. The inside of the arena is easy to navigate, and the seats were comfortable with plenty of leg room in section 106 row B.Written 19 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
