What travellers are saying
- Chevy1806Albany123 contributionsLovely historic village to explore at your own pace. It's an easy walk around and the circular barn is really cool. There are also some animals you can see.Written 17 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alan aNew York City, NY101 contributionsThis is a very professionally run theatre house with some productions such as the recently completed Cabaret at a Broadway or higher level. Under new direction and they’re off to a great start!Written 15 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marian CBainbridge Island, WA28 contributionsA superb guide and a lovely setting! We learned about the life of Herman Melville, but also about the times in which he lived. Our guide Richard was the best, very informative and gracious.Written 19 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carol GHartsdale, NY567 contributionsTalented actors/musicians were young and enthusiastic, if not up to the quality of other productions of Million Dollar Quartet that we have seen on and off Broadway.
Dyanne (Emma Wilcox) was the weak link. Jerry Lee Lewis (Billy Rude) was over the top in his acting making the role more comedic than desperate for work. Elvis Presley (Alessando Gian Viviano) along with the choreographer, Greg Santos, needed to see the original Elvis moves because the wiggles resulted in grotesque movements by the Elvis character reminiscent of Elaine's comedic performance on Seinfeld.

Really an amazing abundance of flora types. Make sure to take your bug protection on with you.Written 22 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TeamManPrinceton, NJ1,515 contributionsWe visited this museum for the first time to see their exhibit of the works of the Hudson River School. We enjoyed the works of Thomas Hill, especially his painting of Yosemite (see photo) and Edward Moran's impression of the New York City Harbor (photo).
Just for fun, we took a peak at the aquarium and hit it with a group of kids from a camp or school (photos). Very well done.
There are other sections of the museum that we will hit when we return.Written 8 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Denny K58 contributionsGreat place to research the archival records of Melville and his family. A place for Melville scholars to come and look through the volumes of information on Melville and his family, particularly his time in the Berkshires at Arrowhead.Written 10 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cathy MGales Ferry, Connecticut, United States37 contributionsPittsfield State Forest is BEAUTIFUL! Many picnic tables, lots of hiking trails, a really gorgeous scenic road, streams, a pond and probably more that we didn't even see. We were there during peak foliage time and it was just stunning. Best of all, on the trails, your dog can be off-leash! Our little dog had a blast running along the trails!Written 2 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FireWireDiverForked River, NJ488 contributionsUsing the brewery passport app for iPhone I found Wandering Star brewing. It’s located in an unassuming garage on. A narrow side street. Parking from what I saw needs to be creative.
After the step down into the establishment it was clear to see this was a popular spot.
The brewer was busy filling pints and growlers. The “overlord” cat-a beautiful tortie kitty- was overseeing the bar area. I asked if dogs were allowed and YES they are just need to be leashed.
Friendly customers. Dog friendly. Tasty beer. I had a wobble ipa and left with a growler filled w cream wheat.
A regular or customer told me that in nice weather the garage doors are open and there is a larger venue w giant Jenga games.
Beer was reliable. Dog friendly. Friendly customers and good beerWritten 24 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Arrive on time because they are strict about kicking you out when your time is up. If you have kids with you, use the runs that are further to the right because it will be faster for them to get out of the way and back up to the top of the run.Written 25 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NorthamptonersNorthampton, MA12 contributionsWorld-class artists in an intimate purpose built theatre. It doesn't get any better. Concerts are in the afternoon. If you love music, try it.Written 21 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
