Good Harbor Beach is my favorite beach in mass. The water is is clear, it has amazing waves, a little canal type thing that you can jump into from the bridge, and their snack shack actually has amazing food! Low tide is amazing there because there is this super shallow part a little separate from everyone and after an hour or so it gets warmer than the regular water and it is perfect for kids! Also there is a little island that you walk out to climb at low tide although to the top is it a hike, but like any beach there are sooo many seagulls and they are very daring. I have lost many sandwiches by a seagull diving down and taking it of my hand. pro tip: keep your food either closed or very close
to you. If you are in Gloucester or near it I really recommend this beach.

A beautiful introduction to what Gloucester and Cape Ann are all about. And then walk over the Monument for the Wives, Widows and families of these brave Fishermen.

We had a free afternoon in the middle of a group tour. We chose Hammond Castle Museum. It was fabulous. After an hour tour we spent half an hour exploring on our own. Sitting outside on the lawn was peaceful and relaxing. It was wonderful learning about Hammond and the impact his inventions had and has on the world. We were also surprised when two children ages 9 and 11 seemed to have an equally enjoyable time.

Favorite experience was sitting on a rock with my legs in a tidal pool. Second favorite: walking up & down the beach while people-watching.

this park and beach (too rocky to swim) was a beautiful spot on the water. No fee to go to this park. Beautiful location and breeze.

Words can't describe Beauport, it must be seen to be believed. Great tour with a knowledgeable docent. A must-see.

It was nice walking around and checking out the shops after a boat ride. Charming little town. Shady trees and quaint restaurants to take an afternoon break. Not as crowded as Rockport. Another town to explore. Not a real destination like Rockport.

We ignored the private drive, followed the GPS and glad we did! The houses were amazing and the walk out to the end of the rocks was really cool. Glad we made this stop!

It seems as though this memorial is not as often visited as the fisherman’s memorial. However, this one is worth the visit as well. It’s also only a short walk from a nice park with a beach view. Absolutely worth visiting to gain a better understanding of the history of Gloucester!

My wife and I enjoyed walking down the boardwalk of Gloucester Center on a sunny, beautiful day. The flowers along the boardwalk are still brilliant and captivating.

My husband and I took our nieces to this beach last summer. It's a great little beach tucked away and easy to miss. The day we went it wasn't too crowded and the parking was reasonable. I suggest brining a grill or your own food. There is a place to get food, but it wasn't that great. It's a bit rocky, so I suggest brining beach shoes so you can walk around. The park is beautiful.

Fun place for good galleries and restaurants during the summer season. Pretty dead otherwise. You can take a harbor loop ride from Gloucester.

Hubby and I were bumping around the Gloucester area today, looking for something to do indoors to escape the heat. Came across this gem. Informative and informational presentation. Excellent tasting opportunities. A pleasant way to spend some time. Buying bottles of Gin and Whisky at very reasonable prices was also a high point. Check them out!

Get a trail map and bring bug spray. Recommend long pants and long-sleeved shirt. Plenty of parking; dogs welcome.
